It's a rich feeling, glad she's staying in Ponyville, she's sorta like Zecora, a pony who is a Ponyville resident, even though she doesn't live in town.

Given how the writers have really enjoyed using Maud as a character sense season 4, and she has appeared a lot from that point, this gives them a decent reason for why she can appear more often in the show, now that she lives near the main characters.

I don't think that just because Maud moved to Ponyville's outskirts we are gonna see her more often from now on.... or better more often that we already saw her since her debut. I mean she's not like she got many less appearances than... I don't know... Granny Smith or the Cakes since she debutted in the series.

Honestly it is the prettiest home in all of Equestria. Twilight's home is out of place, the Ponyville townhouses are quaint but not my type of home, I don't want to live a carousel themed home (Sorry Rarity). Her home is definitely the best

Well, Ponyville adjacent to be specific. It was in today's episode. A new ship was introduced, Pinkie was in rare form, and SG will be visiting Maud's mine for some salt cause she expelled a a goodish amount in this episode.

Despite Maude being a fan favorite we only saw her 3 times in season 5 and only once in season 6. So it's significantly less than for example Granny Smith who got 7 and 6 appearances in those seasons. So we will be seeing Maude more probably but it does not mean she will get more focus episodes.

I think she has the best home in Ponyville... I am insanely jealous of it. I mean I would not mind living in a cave with underground waterfalls. Some statues, posters and some collectibles scattered about, and I would be set. As for her herself, I am glad she moved to Ponyville... in the words of Rainbow Dash... I'm totally cool with it. Maud is one of my favorite characters, I don't think we will see her a lot, but she'll probably be a round a bit more often than before. I don't see her pulling away from the main cast... if anything I would not mind her getting some one on one time with the others at some point.

Actually cave temperature for the most part is pretty steady no matter what the surface temperature is.

She is like my friend in Minecraft. Instead of working hard and building a house he just builds a basement and lives there.

I think it's extreme. But actually, i wouldn't like to live so isolated. Then again, she lives surrounded by her passion. So yeah

I kinda dig Maud's crib, apart from rocks/minerals/gems, the grass and the water along with it, it's just beautiful is all that I can say. Welcome to Ponyville, Maud!

I thought that the whole episode was done very well. I think that Maud's new home is gorgeous, and I love that she lives closer now. Also, I agree with the person above, who mentioned that we might be seeing the creation of a new mane six...

Very impressive, to say the least, and at least she lives closer to Pinkie and can continue her studies on rocks and the other stuff involved in them, including minerals, sediments, erosion, and all that stuff.
