I agree, I hate using porta pottys. They're gross, give me claustrophobia, and what makes them even worse is if you gotta use one on a hot day.  I mean I'll use one if I really have to, but.....

I hate my college's 5 bathrooms.

Just think of irresponsible teenagers pissing all over and don't even flush.

I am generally not a fan of public toilets, but some can be really clean. But others can be also really icky (the school toilets of my last school for example or some toilets on rest areas). But the worst I ever saw were on construction zones (I worked a few times as a time worker on construction zones). These were the most icky places I ever had seen.

And when there is toilet paper is so thin that you have to double or even triple the layers.

I have two candidates that might be worse. The Boys & Girls Club I went to was basically the same setting as a school bathroom, only there were showers across from the stalls that nobody used but often had wolf spiders lurking, and the stalls had no doors. In addition, not all of the lights were working and some flickered on occasion. Had a very prison-esque feeling.

Any of you seen Trainspotting? Well, I remember one or two bathrooms in particular that very closely resembled "the worst toilet in Scotland".

Wouldn't be surprised, Good toilets here seem to have sticky floors and Bad ones are honkin and mankey floors

School restrooms were always disgusting. I pretty much never used them throughout my entire education there. I'd always just used my own bathroom when I went home for lunch.

Nowadays though, it's porta potties I avoid like the plague. Even just being near one makes me feel dirty, since they're always used for big outdoor events. You can guarantee that they'll be a mess.

Yep porta potty aka chemical toilet, portaloo, Elsan etc., gets top of my list. Also pretty much anywhere that's not at home really, unless really good. En suite in a hotel room or equiv is OK too.

Any bathroom that isn't single/private. I will seriously use a porta potty before I use a stalled restroom. I have done it before, and I'd do it again. Privacy is the number one most crucial aspect to me. I don't want people prying into my business, talking to me, talking on their phones while I'm going, which all is exactly what happens. I don't know what it is about my workplace, but people there just love to pry into other peoples' business in regard and talk about it. Not only is it gross, but it's an invasion of privacy and I will have none of that.

I'm going to a music festival next week where everyone has tents and campers at a fair ground. There are porta potties and bathrooms but they are nasty. So I drive to a gas station every morning and buy something there and use theirs.

Porta-potties are by far my least favorite for general use but for the legendary number that is 2? If it is not my home, ALL OF THEM. I cannot stand doing 'that' in any restroom that is not my own, especially if it is any public place that is not lockable. I feel so uncomfortable doing that and I feel like I have no privacy, which is something I really need if I am going to do that.
