I LOVE Homer Simpson.

 

He's the epitome of the working class hero; overweight, boorish, ill-tempered, immature, but not without redeeming qualities. No matter how many stupid decisions he has made over the years, no matter how many times he's strangled his son Bart, and no matter how many times he's gotten drunk, he's a family man at heart. There's no amount of love more powerful than the love Homer has for his wife and kids (and maybe his grandpa).

 

Plus, he's really hilarious.
