general What do you regret finding out?

You know what they say.. "Curiosity killed the cat". It can be anything, fun or serious. Heck, It can also be something you read from the user's post just now.

I have few things that I regret finding out something that may ruin the franchise for me, one example. Finding out that Voldemort and Bellatrix hook up and have a baby. eh..yeah not a great image to have in your head..

So how about you?

Uh. Well. One thing I can think of would be cats mating (hopefully this would not be inappropriate). It was by accident that my beloved cat decided to do it infront of me when I was gardening. It is.. wierd.

The MLP leaks. Not just finding out what was originally planned(both good and bad), but what they decided to replace things with(a lot of promising episode ideas to outright pivotal plot points were replaced with some real trash). This was especially prevalent in the latter half of the show's run, and finding out about all of this was really heartbreaking, to the point where it outright ruins the second run of the show for me

Yeah like what cagey said. Technically though like most people, I don't consider the cursed child canon since it's another writer. I mean, JK was there to help with the story but doesn't hold too much responsibility for it.

Well, I found out I got pretty much backstabbed by someone I trusted a lot. If I never learnt the truth, I probably would've seen that situation in a less negative light and probably dismiss it completely.

I regret watching "Leaving Neverland", as it changed some events of my childhood in a negative way. if I had just ignored that documentary, I would still be living in perfect MJ bliss.

When I was on a mission trip, I saw two dogs playing, before one of the dogs got attacked by like a pack of wild dogs. They fought for ages and I, being 13 and pure decided to not watch it.

This dude, though took a 4-minute video of it and it still haunts me.

This! Very much this!

You put the milk away and go back to pick up the cup and your eyeballs are assaulted with horrible floating lumps in it. A waste of a bloody good tea bag coupled with the annoyance of having to go round the road to buy some more milk.

Hmm, I don't think I want to think about this one too long, lest any bad memories pop up

There have probably been plenty of spoilers for shows or movies that I've seen creep up on the internet ahead of time.

Finding out that the show was coming to an end / close RIGHT after I had rejoined the fandom (the same goes for finding out that Bronycon was never gonna happen again, since 2019 was my first one / first pony con)

I regret finding out what kind of creatures sand dollars come from. My parents vacationed somewhere with a beach earlier this year and brought home a bunch of shells. I have always thought sand dollars were fascinating, but this time when I looked at them I thought "What kind of creature could possibly use something like that as a shell?", and then I Googled it and I'm never going to touch one of those things ever again. Lol.

I regretted finding out how much it SUCKS to live in a small town in this country in your 20's. No jobs, anywhere. Seriously. NO. JOBS. ANYWHERE. THEY ARE ALL TAKEN. I'd rather at least have to work for a minimum wage that pays for jack $#!+ than getting absolutely nothing. Oh and I really regret finding out how HORRIBLE these jobs are too, and how SKEWED the numbers relating to unemployment/earnings actually are.

Still would be technically a WAYS below the poverty line, but I'd be able to at least survive and actually be able to get TOOTHPASTE when I go to the store. I'm gosh danged lucky to have a boyfriend, and gosh danged lucky his mom is so generous. I'm not feeling these "jobs" that are supposedly "being created" here. All I feel is like I lost the sociopolitical lottery of getting actually CONSIDERED for a job. "Unemployment is at a low 4%" my @$$. If those numbers were accurate, 14% may be a more accurate number. Seriously, the numbers are calculated on so few metrics that it's not even funny. The numbers are better than they should be, and even then they REALLY aren't that good, even if they're so cherry-picked as to look LOADS better than they actually are.

I'll just put this up here, because it relates to my point and shows just how outrageously BAD the economy actually is for the middle class right now, and how low quality these "jobs" actually are. Seriously, the economy isn't getting better for most people. IT'S ACTUALLY GETTING WORSE. The environment of Socialism for the rich and Social Darwinism for literally everyone else is only making things worse for everyone, and somebody NEEDS to put an END to it.

I regret a lot of things I found on internet (usually because of curiosity), but the most regretful things are videos and photos I came across with real gunfights, deaths and gore

I regret finding out a lot of things about the type reality we are living in.

I also didn't like to find out that my favorite author, Michael Ende, didn't liked the Neverending Story movie and actively tried to sabotage it. He said horrible things about it and asked to not even be mentioned in the credits :(

It's my favorite movie of all time that introduced me to him and his work in the first place.

On the internets I have found out how batshit crazy some people actually are. Even in my wildest imagination it wouldn't be possible for me to imagine some of the stuff I came across on the internet.
