general What’s The Oldest House You’ve Ever Lived In?

The oldest house I’ve lived in so far (and probably never again) was a Victorian-age 3 story house when I was very little. This was back when I lived in Illinois. I swear that place was haunted....the basement more specifically.  Some people supposedly died there because the basement was actually a doctor’s office way back then....creepy. If only I had pictures of the old place. I hardly remember it though.

I recently lived in a house built by an ancestor of mine in the early 1800s. The floors are really uneven but I kinda miss that place.

My dad's house was built in the early 1900's. Doesn't look that old, even from the outside, but guess it is.

My current one is the oldest one I've lived in so far. 17th century apparently. Or was it 18th? I used to actually know off the top of my head.

The oldest before that was a victorian semi detached house.

I lived in an apartment that I think was built in the 1960s or 70s.

The house I currently live in (also the house I've lived in my whole life, if you don't count my year of college) was built in 1948, so not super old, but not recent, either.

My mother's old house in Queens which was built in 1910. I had to live there for a month and a half because I was taking summer college classes. It's in even worse shape now because my aunt who lives there is a hoarder.

I'm not sure. Both my childhood home in Illinois and the house I live in Ohio were built in the 1910s but I'm not sure which is actually older.

I’ve lived in mine all my life.  It was built in 1959.

I can’t do old houses.  My aunt has one that was built soon after the civil war, and I swear that place has spooks in it.

Most houses around here are pretty new. Oldest ever.... I’d say some apartments but I don’t know how old they are. Oldest house is the only house I’ve lived in and it’s as old as I am.

I've only lived in 2 houses,

my current house is the oldest, built in the 1960s (I've lived here since 2007), and my grans house which is around 16 years old (new built house)

The oldest house I've lived in is my own from 1962. My parents where I've lived for most of my life was built in 1975.

The one I'm living in now, it's a sandstone terraced house and about 150 years old I think, I've lived here nearly all of my life, it's the only home I remember living in.

I'm not sure how old my apartment is, but it's the same complex my dad lived in when he went to school here, and he thought it was old even then.

The oldest house I have ever lived in is my fathers place. If I remember correctly the original construction was built in the late 1800's but was added onto over the decades. Today the house is rather big but in no way modern.

When I was really little my dad bought a hobby farm in Virginia and it had a very old farmhouse and several out-buildings dating to the late 1890s. We never really lived in the house; it was more of a place to visit and play around, but I don't think I'd want to spend enough time inside to meet any of the former residents floating around a place that old. Scary.
