Favorite MLP Shipping and Why?

My favorite Mane 6 ships are AppleDash (coolest ship) and FlutterPie (cutest ship).

Discord and Celestia. Angel and Demon shipping is my thing. I've always had the headcanon that opposites do indeed attract, and this notion that a previously corrupt character can be made into one more innocent and vice versa.

Man I've even made a song that I shameless promote because I love this pairing so much.

 

I could never understand why Spike and Celestia would be shipped. There's LITERALLY NO REASON nor logic for it. These bad shippings are there for convenience. There wouldn't be any good or bad conflict between the two, but rather the pair would just be there for the sake of being there.

 

Fluttermac (Both are reserved characters), RainbowPie (Both have similarly active personalities) at least have some sense. But man, the best ships are those with the strongest conflict amongst the pair (conflict does not necessarily mean a negative connotation though).

I have a thing for TwiDash. I kinda find it to be my favorite ship, and "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3" helped me see that. If anything else, I'd say Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie. Who could say no to that?

Because it was technically the first UNSC ship to make it to Requiem. The first place humanity had an encounter with a living Forruner.

 

That thing is quite cute actually.

 

Best ship is the Imperial Retribution class battleship though.

 

The 7.5 km long wrath of the Emperor compressed in an admantium hull. Enough guns to kill planets and an armored prow to ram everything into scrap that is left.

Twilestia all the way for me. Twilight's emotions are so intense whenever Celestia is involved, just imagine how good kissing would be The only time she's gone crazy for reasons other than impressing Celestia was in It's About Time, due to sleep deprivation. Even after being away from Celestia for the first two seasons, her worst fear in Sombra's door didn't involve anyone else. And her gala dream was just to be alone with Celestia and talk all night

And on Celestia's side, practically the first thing we learn about her is that she trusts Twilight completely. And Twilight not only saving Celestia the heartache of fighting Nightmare Moon, but bringing back Luna in the process, has to be the most meaningful thing anyone has done for her in at least the past 1000 years. And now that Twilight is an alicorn, lifespan may not be a barrier either. And you can't forget about all the hugs. And nuzzles. And chin touches. And rump touches Have we seen Celestia show physical affection toward anyone else, other than Luna at their initial reunion?

 

I used to like Flutterdash, but not so much since the events of Trade Ya. Plus one of the things I initially liked about them was that they met eachother when they were little, but after further pondering, I don't think they really became friends back then or they would have told eachother their cutie mark stories.

 

ScootaDash is my guilty pleasure Again, the intensity of emotion gets me.

 

SilverTiara is cute and sweet, even if they are evil. I'd love to see an episode where Diamond treats Silver badly, and Silver hangs out with the CMC until Diamond realizes how important she is to her and apologizes.

 

But if you really want straight ships, I'll go with Sparity, Cheerimac, and Fluttercord.

Rarishy, a ship I almost put on more of a pedestal than either of the characters involved. I just think they naturally have a stronger bond than the rest of the Mane Six, one they don't have to be loud about because they're personalities are complementary and not conflicting (thus no arguing). I feel like it's a ship that genuinely has grounds to occur if the two ever feel experimental, they'd probably turn to one another first over any other.

Honestly, I don't even like shipping for this show. I don't know why, I'm fine with it in some other shows, none of which are cartoons, but there's something about shipping the characters in this show that I find unapealing. Probably because the show feels so innocent at least to me that the idea just turns me off.

I'm not a fan of hetero ships lol.  At ALL.  I mean, unless I'm one half of the ship .  The only male character I like so far in the entire show is Spike, and I don't ship Spike with anyone.  I only ship mare / mare.  It started with AppleDash.  Then I moved on to / added FlutterDash.  But now I whole-heartedly support RainbowPie (the one constant is that RD is always involved xD).  I bought a Funko Pop Dashie and Pinkie and placed them snoot to snoot on my entertainment center.  That makes it REAL.
