One Thing You Have In Common With Each Mane Six

While Applejack and Twilight are the characters I have the most in common with I realized that I have at least one thing in common with each of the Mane 6 characters and some secondary and background ponies.

 

Applejack: I am very set in my ways and it is often very difficult for me to admit when I am wrong.

 

Twilight Sparkle: I have an inquisitive mind and love reading and learning new things.

 

Rainbow Dash: I have got a bit of a temper though it is not as bad as it used to be.

 

Pinkie Pie: I appreciate a good joke

 

Fluttershy: I like animals, especially dogs.

 

Rarity: I am not into fashion but I do like her have my creative side. I am a writer and a musician I have been written stories since well into my early childhood and have composed songs since I was 12.

 

Derpy: I am often misunderstood and seen as "different" by society.

Flutters : I'm quite around strangers.

Eeeeeeeeyup that is true, though it dosen't take much to be better than the Twilight books. The mane character in that is like the textbook definition of a Mary Sue.

Ill start off with the least in common and that's Pinky Pie: while there isn't much there i do have my inner child that likes to make others laugh once in a while.

Then there's Twilight: i do enjoy a good book and have been unknown to have written a thing or two. It mostly puts me to sleep.

 

Rainbow Dash. Lets see...were both a kind of call it as you see it.

 

Fluttershy. Id rather spend time around animals then the animals i work with.

 

Rarity. Both of us strive to be better then where we started. She has humble roots but chooses to better herself without sacrificing her humble roots.

 

And Applejack. Were both work-A-holics

 

And then there's Luna. If you know her story. It looks like my life... without the whole moon thing... banished for things we've done in the past and forever paying for it.

With Twilight Sparkle, it's a love for routines and general orderliness. Can't stand mess on the floor of my bedroom (don't know why I stand it on my desk). I make my bed every morning (not something unique to Twilight, but it's similar to how she loves everything to be neat and tidy).

 

With Applejack, it would be humility. I'm never one to get a swelled head. I try and be modest, whenever possible - a defined trait of hers. I appreciate a good competition, but I participate for the fun - I never mind about whether I win or lose, I just love doing whatever it is in the contest n.n

 

With Rainbow Dash, it's books. I love reading, particularly fictional adventure novels, much like Rainbow does. Also, we can both be pretty lazy at times. :3

 

With Pinkie Pie, it's optimism. I try and look for the good in every situation, no matter how bad it is - I know that being sad never really gets you anywhere, exactly like Pinkie Pie does. Also, we both love to sing, we both play musical instruments, we both love sugary things and we're both particularly peppy; not to mention that we both really love spicy food, and I mean super spicy. I probably have the most in common with her out of all the Mane 6.

 

With Rarity, again it would be orderliness. Not much change from Twilight's - Rarity hates mess, and so do I.

 

With Fluttershy, it's definitely a love for animals. I really do love animals, I have two cats and I often work to look after other people's animals while they're away on holiday. n.n

Twilight Sparkle: I'm more selective about what I read/learn about than she is, but when I find something exciting I totally share her dorky enthusiasm.

 

Fluttershy: Both of us were very awkward kids and I don't usually like meeting new people.

 

Rarity: Weird argumentative relationships with siblings that at the same time have a lot of love behind them. I can also get kind of hammy at times.

 

Applejack: I hate to disappoint people. A part of me dies every time that I do.

 

Rainbow Dash: There are loads, but I'll say need for validation, competitiveness, and putting on a tough face and leave it at that.

 

Pinkie Pie: We're both kind of random, we both have a tendency to assume the worst and we both are afraid of loved ones getting fed up with us and moving on.

Applejack: If I had an Element of Harmony, that would be honesty. I'm very honest and I could be stubborn like her. Also I like helping friends like she does. ^^ I have always found AJ's character as the closest to mine.

Twilight Sparkle: I'm a bit obsessed or care too much about stuff that Twilight does. Such as homeworks etc though I'm usually lazy and very unorganized when it comes to studies >.<. Still, a bit obsessed. There has been times that I was mad like lesson zero Twilight, pretty rare but still I usually keep thinking about that kind of stuff.

Rainbow Dash: Competitive and sporty like her but I detest boasting about achievements. I just like them because it makes me feel successful and if you don't boast around and be friendly to other people, they would respect you. Does Rainbow Dash have a bad temper? If she does, I have that too.

Rarity: Not much. Ehhh sometimes I complain, I guess.

Pinkie Pie: When I'm in a good mood I'm likely to be like Pinkie pie and make friends around happy. People usually have thought that I'm a funny person. 

Fluttershy: I love animals and I find them very interesting. I can even spend a whole day just watching an animal. I was even thinking about getting a job about animals though I'm not in that kind of thing right now.

Applejack: I do not like to let people down, at all. I tell the truth like AJ.

 

Rainbow Dash: My competitive attitude is similar to her's. Plus, she is my favorite pony.

 

Twilight Sparkle: My new found knowledge in reading, plus I usually read books and fanfictions. Mostly overreact.

 

Fluttershy: My shy personality, pretty much not open to everyone at school.

 

Pinkie Pie: I like to make people smile, and I throw parties for everybody.

 

Rarity: Mostly, I worry about my fashion in T-shirts like Polo, and sneakers like Jordans.

Yes there are several examples of it throughout the show, sure she is not raging all the time but you do see hints of it throughout the series and I have noticed that when the Mane 6 do get angry as most of them were in Keep Calm and Flutter On that Rainbow Dash was the first to lose her cool.

Twilight Sparkle: I too am very nerdy and spend way too much time looking at stuff way too difficult for my tiny mind to comprehend. That doesn't mean I don't try though.

 

Applejack: When it comes to my summer job, there isn't anyone in my section that is a harder worker. I take pride in what I do and while I may ocasionally take more than I can chew, I always get everything finished. I just collapse harder at the end of the day.

 

Rarity: ... Quite honestly, I can't think of anything!

EDIT: I actually thought of something! As a photographer, I am a bit of a perfectionist and I will adjust my camera for however long it takes to have a properly composed picture, even for the simplest of shots. Rarity too has been shown to be somewhat of a perfectionist and she cares about the quality of her creations.

 

Derpy: I like muffins too!

 

Fluttershy: I have 5 pets which I love very much and I am also usually very shy in real life. I also like to think of myself as kind and I incorperate the teachings of Fred Rogers in my life as much as I can. One difference is that I can take charge when I need to.

 

Pinkie Pie: While I'm nowhere near as random as her, I do have a punny side. Once I start, I can keep going on puns for ages, each slowly becoming more painful than the last.

 

Rainbow Dash: I too am an egg head. Also I can be quite competitive when it comes to certain video games.

Rainbow Dash: I'm probably the least like Dash.  I guess that I can be fairly loyal though, so that counts.

 

Rarity: I like to please other people.  If they're not happy with the job that I did, I do my best to fix it.

Twilight - I can't  believe I have anything in common with Twilight because she has great qualities, I guess I'm a bit self-critical.

 

Rainbow Dash - hmmm nothing.

 

Rarity - Where do I start? I'm sincere and very direct, If something doesn't look good on you I'll probably say it. I'm not particularly into fashion but I like to dress nice with pieces of clothing that match. I love to please my friends and try the best I can to make them happy even if I have to sacrifice myself. If something bothers me I won't keep my mouth shut and I'll talk about it. I can be vain and superficial somethimes. Appearance matters to me, but it's not the only trait I choose to judge people. I don't whine but I do complain, I don't like outdoors.

 

Applejack - I'm really honest, reliable and truthsworthy. I kinda have a paternal side inside of me, which I am not sure if it's good enough, but yeah, that's kind of like Applejack. I like adventure and I don't mind getting dirty (it depends with what thing I get dirty)

 

Pinkie Pie - I like to smile A LOT, I like laughing, I like jokes and candies. I can be vocal (if I'm confortable) and be the center of attention.

 

Fluttershy - I can be shy in large crowds of people in which I don't know anypony, I'm usually very quiet. it's hard for me to say NO to people. I always have an initial fear when I have to do something that make me have to interact with people.

I'm going to pick out a positive trait or virtue I share with each pony.  Something nice and simple.  How simple?  Things that come naturally for me but that anybody can emulate with some time and effort. 

Although I lack Applejack’s tremendous ability to deny herself for the sake of her family and friends, I do strive to put others’ happiness ahead of my own.

Like Rarity, I too can be self-centered and unaware of others’ problems at times.  But also I believe in giving more than I receive.  If you’re not convinced, feel free to review my brohoof statistics. 

I’m not an athlete, so I can’t experience the thrill of victory like Rainbow Dash does.  However, I can share an even greater thrill with her: The rewarding feeling that only comes from helping others. 

Just as Pinkie Pie used laughter to raise the morale of the team on their first mission together, I too use humor to lift my coworkers’ spirits when the going gets tough. 

Fluttershy and I have more in common than I sometimes care to admit.  But I am widely known to be a nice guy, so I guess I can be said to be kind too.  And luckily, I’m not prone to Fluttercry, Flutterbitch, and Flutterrage style outbursts. 

I can only wish I had Twilight ’s ability to read hundreds of books and retain all of that information.  But what I do have in common with her is a never ending desire to know more. No matter how much knowledge one amasses, there is always more to learn.
