gaming What is the most recent video game you beat?

I recently defeated the almighty Dark Souls. What a journey that was. Only had a phantom assist me with one boss, which was the Centipede Demon. Probably didn't need to though. The game provided me with frustrations, not really because of the difficulty actually. The amount of running you must do to get back to some bosses after death was very annoying, but it was a fun time overall. The final boss is such an intense fight, yet, so somber. The music that plays for it really created a specific type of mood. Beating him felt legendary.

Subnautica. I can't really say that I've beaten it, as the game is still in beta and the ability to beat the game (escape the planet alive) isn't in the game yet.

I have conquered it though. I have solid bases in every zone, each with two nuclear reactors and their own food and water sources and each stuffed with enough materials to rebuild it from scratch 10 times over.

I've technically finished the main campaign of the Arkham Knight, but right now, I don't feel like solving all the riddles to activate the Knightfall Protocol. I think I'd rather start The Witcher 3

The most recent game that I beat was Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. I prefer linear games as a whole to open word ones.

The feeling of getting lost in some 3D action adventure games ( it's why I can't play Zelda games ) just really gets on my nerves. Plus I just find the DKC series really fun and addictive.

Almost finished all achievements on Resident Evil Remasterd, but I have beaten the game several times over now. Before this I finished up a couple of 007 games I had laying around the last one being Blood Stone, and in between them have been working on some old NES games. Took a break from them though since as much as I enjoy retro.. a couple of them just bored the hell out of me.

Recently defeated Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin on Xbox One. Overall, the game is good. It has the same great gameplay and the visuals are good too, but I feel the game falls short of the original by quite a bit. The overall design isn't as good and the bosses are not even close. Even the final boss, while awesomely designed on a visual level, wasn't very good on a technical standpoint. The tactics it uses are pretty cheap and yet I still beat it on my second try. It could never compare to Gwyn.

Now that I have it out of the way though, I am excited to start Dark Souls III soon.

Resiedent Evil: Revelations 1  (Not so scary, more action based)

Even the Raid mode as well. (Level 50 was hard though)

Portal. I had beaten it before, but I was going through it again to find all the radio transmissions.

I might have to do it again to kill all the GLaDOS cameras.

Bioshock Infinite.

I'm trying to re-beat it on 1999 mode and dang this game is a pain in the ass.

Isn't that an achievement?

Yeah, it's called transmission received. Each level has a radio to find and take to a certain spot.

  • 1 month later...

Bioshock Infinite.
Was in a depressive Rut, felt the need to play some single player.
Ended up on that, forgot how trippy the ending is.
Especially playing through it with the alternate choices from the last time I played.
Good stuff :D

The last game i beat was " Batman - Return of the Joker " for the Nes.

Which kinda surprised me, because the first Batman Game for Nes was to hard for me and i have beat this game in one day.
