My current avatar is of Amaterasu, the protagonist of the game Okami. In Shinto, she is the goddess of the sun and one of the most important deities. It is said that along with Susanoo, her sister and goddess of the sea, and Tsukuyomi, god of the moon, they created Japan together. Traditionally the emperor of Japan is thought to be a direct descendant of Amaterasu.

That avatar is widely recognised as it originally served as cover art for Hybrid Theory, an album that bears the name the band was supposed to be called before they switched to Linkin Park in end.

The man and the band shaped my past and my present. And they will keep having influence on future me, no doubt about it.

It's the least I can do after 17 long years I've been with them.
