ShadOBabe 18,997 December 23, 2014 Share December 23, 2014 I do, but only when I'm REALLY panicking. And it's not even methodical or rhythmic. It's more just ambling around because I'm freaking out and standing still makes me panic worse. Check out my artwork any time: http://shadobabe.deviantart.com/ "OMG; You are such a troll. Foxx 258 December 23, 2014 Share December 23, 2014 I often pace to and fro whilst waiting for something important, after doing something cringeworthy, or when I am trying to find an answer. Drakkon 362 December 23, 2014 Share December 23, 2014 (edited) I make circular motions generally, if that counts, while thinking. Going around my kitchen, to the living room, back and all over again. I'm told people with ADD/ADHD do this very often in order to help them concentrate. As I do have ADHD, I wasn't surprised. Whenever I'm doing it and my fathers around (My yard is bigger so he likes to hang around my house and do things out of boredom himself ) it drives him nuts. Haha, same here, except with my mother. I can't pace next to her or it drives her crazy. But I am surprised so many people's parents also can't stand it. I thought it was just my mother being weird! Gone Airbourne 21,977 December 29, 2014 Share December 29, 2014 I was doing that a lot just a few minutes ago on the phone with someone... when you have a lot on your mind and angry. You tend not to know what to do.
Perradial 114 December 29, 2014 Share December 29, 2014 I pace back and forth if I have to use the bathroom (and have for a while), am very anxious, or am daydreaming a ridiculous situation that has strange choreography (not necessarily walking in the strange choreography. I just randomly get up and start walking around). This is your average, everyday annoying signature. Are you seriously reading this? Really? Wow. I didn't think you'd actually waste enough time to get to the fourth line. Or the fifth, for that matter. What, am I interesting or something? BROKENLOYALTY 51 December 29, 2014 Share December 29, 2014 (edited) You called. I do this constantly. I don't know why, I do it when I'm bored, nervous, excited, happy, sad. I just like to pace. I can't figure out why. Edited December 29, 2014 by BROKENLOYALTY HONNOR, COURAGE, COMMITMENT, LOYALTY, and NEVER QUIT
catnet 9,356 February 22, 2015 Share February 22, 2015 When I'm in thought- particularly if I'm thinking about someone fictional or real being angry or excited, or a busy scenario- I tend to pace around the room a lot, as well as when I'm listening to energetic/tense music or if I'm bored. Lucky Bolt 35,063 July 27, 2019 Share July 27, 2019 Me. Seriously I have a really bad habit of pacing back and forth when I'm anxious/nervous, which I am often. That and if I'm forced to sit while anxious I have a tendency to bounce my leg up and down or tap my fingers on whatever surface is close to me. So yeah. ☆ My socials ☆
Will Guide 21,360 July 27, 2019 Share July 27, 2019 After a big revelation in an engaging TV show, I ended up pacing the floor putting the pieces together since the big reveal caused a lot of early confusing moments to finally make sense. Cash In 22,301 July 28, 2019 Share July 28, 2019 I pace a lot. Often for no good reason, other than my inability to sit still. At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
PrinceGlaciem/LordNemesis 13 July 28, 2019 Share July 28, 2019 I do sometimes, It's pretty much when something is bothering me or if I have an artistic idea and I am acting it out in my head to see if it works. some say Summer, I say Winter... some say Rap, I say Country and Alternate rock

Denim&Venöm 18,896 July 28, 2019 Share July 28, 2019 Oh all the damn time. I hate sitting or standing in one place for long periods of time. Even when I am sitting, it's in a rocker, so I'm not exactly still. When I'm bored or really thinking, or excited or nervous, I just pace around. Snow 7,030 July 31, 2019 Share July 31, 2019 I’m not one for standing still, if on on the phone I’ll be walking all over or pacing back and forth or if I’m waiting at the train station I’ll be walking up and down the length of the platform. beans
Treeglow Flicker 13,622 July 31, 2019 Share July 31, 2019 I pace back and forth a lot. Even while I'm brushing my teeth. I seem to get most of my best thinking done when doing so. Sometimes when I conclude a thought, I'd just randomly stop, clap once loudly, spin on the spot and exclaim one of the following: "RIGHT!", "YES!", "HA!" or "NOW THEN!"
Dreambiscuit 9,691 August 2, 2019 Share August 2, 2019 I walk in circles actually. After I had back surgery a couple years ago the doc wanted me to walk a mile or more every day, so I started walking laps around my apartment building, and now I mostly do it indoors, around the coffee table in my living room, over and over and over again. It helps me think.
