I'm not as into the romance as I used to be when I was younger. I just want to have fun with a girl, more or less. The romance can come later.

But I guess my idea of a good date would be going shopping if we go out. If we stay in, the perfect date would involve Netflix and video games. The last girlfriend I had would do something like that...it's a shame it didn't work out.

Here's my whole thing about this: technically, anything can be romantic for me, as long as I get emotional, and it feels romantic.

That being said, for me, one of my favorite things would be to go somewhere quiet, maybe serenade my date with a song or two, grab a bite to eat somewhere along the way, and at the end of the night, fall asleep in each other's arms.

This may seem weird, but a date where absolutely everything goes wrong is potentially about as romantic as it can get. At the end of the date, if both parties are still speaking to each other and enjoying each other’s company, it’s a great testament to their resiliency as a couple, and to me, that’s pretty romantic.

I'm just going off what I selected. A classic candlelit dinner, a day at a amusement park, at a nice and quite bar, going to national or art museum, playing board games or going to the arcane, shopping or whatever my future SO wants instead. Although I prefer the ones that do more walking/activity than sitting/talking since I'm pretty socially awkward if we just sit and talk.
