What sort of things do you collect?

Aside from Pony stuff, I collect manga, DVDs, CDs, books, Monster High Dolls, Dreamcatchers, Rubber Duckies, owl things, Nightmare before Christmas things, Halloween things and hand fans

 

I'm not sure why, but there's something about collecting things that makes me really happy

I mostly collect comic books and movies, just for the fun of it.

Sadly I haven't had the resources to really be stable with any form of collection.

As a kid, I spent a few years amassing a good thousand or so pokemon trading cards, but they got thrown in storage following a out of state move/parental divorce.

I was also gonna try to get some old comics and hide them somewhere, hoping to sell them later on--though that lasted like... a week or three, and being a kid it was nothing good.

Last spring/summer, following my first job, I tried precious metal investing--basically throwing ~10% of my wage into buying silver coins. Though then I started college, and my entry into student debt, so... THAT got put to the side. For now. That's still something I want to take back up though. Only ended up with only like, 7 1toz silver coins, but they're still very pretty to look at.

I collect knives and swords,started last year,for now I got just 3 knives and a katana,other than this collection I have a collection of manga comics and anime DVDs,and I also collect videogames,got a few "vintage" ones in my collection eh eh,that's about it.

I collect Pokemon stuff, Webkinz, Bella Sara cards, feathers, statuettes, and digital art on DA. :3

 

I wish I could collect snowglobes, Nintendo video games/consoles, figurines, comics, and mlp merch right now, but money for me is a little short right now. XD

Well, I collect quite a few things, which are:

 

• Books (Halo Trilogy)
• Comics (Marvel Venom and Spiderman)
• DVD (I've got a few anime series, and movie trilogies)
• Cards (Yes....I've got a lot of Pokemon cards, yet I don't collect them anymore.  For the record, i've got that rare Mew).
• Music (Halo music *hail Martin O'Donnell*, Kingdom Hearts, Star Wars, Star Trek, Transformers, as well as OST of Composers such as Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Harry-Gregson Williams, etc.)

I always wanted to collect comics, but I couldn't figure out where to start

especially since I wanted to start with Batman and there's so many different series @A@

Yeah...that's how my collections seem to go on pause for a long time

Collections tend to be really expensive, sadly ;n;

 

For MLP merch, I've mostly been investing in blind bags since they're the cheapest thing out and also sort of exciting because you never know what character you'll get next >w<

I'm interested in the series as a whole, but again, hard to find the start of it all

The ones I was trying to collect are like, cracker-size, and very pretty.

I still squee slightly inside when looking for silver coins.   Each oz is like, $20 worth of silver.

Batman! Yeah! The Bat-Family's a real treat in the comic world! I would start with post-crisis, however. The new 52 isn't the best way to get into and learn all about what makes up Bruce's family.

It's more of a laid back hobby, I'd say. I don't normally go out of my way to pick up a knife; I buy as I see fit when I have spare change to toss around. Myers mask collecting, now that's a dangerous and never ending hobby. If you're not too careful, you can easily bankrupt yourself.
