  1. No, sadly I haven't seen an anti-brony argument that I found very intelligent. It's too bad, I want a challenge! I want to debate somebody who actually can give a half-logical argument. Unfortunately, I think it is impossible to intelligently criticize the entire fandom. Of course, they could legitimately challenge practices like spamming ponies on non-pony boards, but that is not the entire fandom. I have, however, seen sensible arguments that, although civil and not based on accusations of girliness or homosexuality, were logically unstable.
  2. I watched episode one, two, and three, and then thought, "What am I doing? This is for little girls." So I went to bed. But as the days went by, I was slowly drawn to watch more. There's my story, folks.
  3. That's how I met another brony at my school, although it was the other guy wearing a 20% cooler shirt. I saw it and I started having a miniature mental breakdown. The next day I went up and started talking to him, and now we're really good friends. And I quote the show a lot. Never found any other bronies that way, but I'm sure it's possible.
  4. Webbed hooves? How is that even--Nevermind, Braeburn makes it possible. And anyhoo, I would not go gay for Braeburn. I for one don't get his appeal. :/
  5. Darn it, I just now realized how much the Nexus 7's autocorrect butchered my post... It's even worse on Google products than Apple products!
  6. I personally don't usually watch any movie or television episode more than once in a long while. That goes for MLP, too. So, maybe one or sometimes two episodes a week, sometimes more if I feel like it.
  7. A lot of brony artists have links to their downloads under their YouTube videos. Search for the song you want on YouTube, look in the description, and more likely than not you'll find a link to a download.
  8. Dear God! The cuteness! It's too powerful! Noooo! *dies after being exposed to deadly amounts of adorableness* But, seriously, I love the milkshake poses. However, the sock thing just doesn't click with me, or the navel trend for that matter. Now, navAl ponies would be cool...
  9. Like most of these people, I thought you were talking about Biden, and I was having a mental short circuit for a minute imagining my Vice President as a brony.
  10. I know three bronies and two pegasisters IRL. Two bronies go to my school, and I'm great friends with one. The other bring I met before he was one, and then he got me into the fandom afterward. One pegasister is my sister, the other is my cousin. And then there's one guy who may be in the middle of becoming a bring, but I'm not sure. So, yeah, I know a few.
  11. I told my mom about it, and she was concerned I was insecure about it. Yeah, she was really cool about it, but she's used to my insanity. However, I wil haven't told my father. He ridiculed me in front of the family for asking for one of the newer Pokemon games for Christmas because he found it too immature. I asked him if he'd rather have me play violent games, and he said, "Yeah, you need to grow up." Needless to say, that ended my internal debate about telling him I was a brony. However, I will test the waters. Probably tell him about brownies and ask him what he thinks. That's what I did for my mom, and after I was able to convince her we weren't all gay pedophiles, I told her I was a bring.
  12. I tried the Twilight Sparkle one. I did feel slightly different, but nothing much. Might I ask what a trance is supposed to feel like? I'm not sure if I'm quite there yet.
  13. Some of my friends know, not many. My best friend finds it strange, but doesn't hate on it and watches some of the fan made videos. Some other people were already friends with other bronies, so it was the same old song and dance for them. One, however, reacted quite harshly, but he's generally a very harsh person so it didn't surprise or bother me. But only a handful know. EDIT: I forgot to mention he guy who thought all bronies were cloppers. I wondered why he started acting strange around me, until he finally confronted me about it, and I sorted it out.
  14. Sexy? Usually, no. However, I will admit I find Trixie to be "sexy" in a sense. Why? I haven't got a clue, and that's coming from aa guy who has tried, and often succeeded, at pinpointing the causes of most of his sexual quirks. However, I would say that their personalities are, in fact, attractive. I would not use the word "sexy," though, as that brings to mind physical attraction. About your cat argument, there's one major flaw: Ponies aren't cats. I could use a similar argument, except twist it a bit, and say: Humans are very similar to chimpanzees. Are you sexually attracted to chimpanzees? If you answered no, then how can you be attracted to humans? I know, it's a bit of an unfair comparison, but you get the point. Also, do you think you'll get honest answers to that question here? That's like going to a Catholic school, in front of all the teachers, staff, and students, and asking, "Who here doesn't believe in God?" Chances are, even if they don't, they'll keep quiet in fear of being considered strange or evil. Once again, bad comparison, but good point made. Overall, if somebody finds ponies sexy, more power to them. I really don't care much either way, and I always find it odd when people try to make either side of the argument "right" because, at the end of the day, it is a personal opinion based on preferences that cannot be accurately measured, not facts.
  15. "The passing of time is a loud, loud experience, but only to those who listen." -My Dad I like it because it seems liked it should mean something, but I can't put my finger on it. The mystery is half the appeal.
  16. It said I was most like Rainbow, which is interesting because last time I took the test (A few months ago) I was most like Twilight. Not that surprising, though. I have changed a lot over the past few months.
  17. Meh, I won't freak out unless somebody at Hasbro tells us Twilight's being replaced. Until then, I'll assume that it will be business as usual, plus one pair of wings. There's no use getting all riled up over speculation.
  18. 1. Twilight- Why? She's adorable and I can relate to her. 2. Pinkie- Why? She's random and I can relate to her, but a bit less than I can relate to Twilight. 3. Rarity- Why? Her breakdown when she was wallowing in whatever ponies wallow in is one of my all time favorite scenes, and she's always so dramatic. 4. Fluttershy- Why? Diabeetus, that's why. 5. Rainbow Dash- Why? She's cool, but I can't really relate to her. 6. Applejack- Why? I find her rather dull, and I can't relate to her.
  19. My mom knows and is fine with it. She was actually more concerned that I was worried about her reaction than the fact I enjoy the show. My dad, however, tried to prevent me from watching Avatar the Last Airbended because he thought it was too childish, so I'm not telling him. My sister watches the show, knows, and was shocked at first, but thinks it's cool that we can talk about it together. One of my female cousins also watches the show and knows. Some of my close friends know, and half of my theater troupe found it out when we were exchanging random facts about ourselves. I'm very uncomfortable about it with people I don't know well, but I am pretty much fine with my close friends knowing.
  20. I was mad at a friend of mine for who knows what reason a while back, and was chasing him around a hill. I face planted into the dirt, reached out for his leg, grabbed, and pulled. Turns out it wasn't his leg, but rather some poor, random girl. Needless to say, she did not appreciate the event, but it makes a good story to tell now.
  21. Finally got around to reading My Little Dashie. Probably the saddest, most beautiful thing I've ever read.

    1. Circadian

      Circadian

Try reading "The Road", "Life of Pi", "A Thousand Splendid Suns".

  22. Very well then, here's my audition:http://m.soundcloud.com/omnusus/audition-nmm-radio-story I did Silver, Bright Night, Griffon Emperor, and Arabian Prince. I did the line you gave for them three times each. Also, you never put up a line for the Dragon Warlord.
  23. Okay. One last question: How would this all work out? Would we record several takes of our lines and you edit them all together? Would we do some kind of conference call on Skype or something? If you know now, I'd like to know so I can make any necessary arrangements, I.e. downloading Skype and explaining to my parents why I seem to be talking to myself all the time while at the computer.
  24. Hmm. I've never done voice acting before, but this seems pretty neat. Auditioning can't hurt, and will provide new life experiences. I might record some voices tomorrow, see how I do. Just as a general question, how much time would this require?
  25. I haven't gotten anything yet, but I am seriously considering buying some sort of plushie, or maybe a shirt. I'm not sure yet. I'm a tad nervous, mostly because my sister would try to tag along and make a big deal out of it.
