    I hope it doesn't end with the movie. This series should enjoy a Simpsons sized run. Hey, I can dream That is a very interesting thought. It would also be cool if in the process they get cutie marks that somehow link them together.

    I don't understand the whole shipping rage. If certain characters are a couple, it's pretty well spelled out and understood. The only area of a possible implied attraction between two ponies that I've seen is between Cheerilee and Big Mac. Other than that, it's all pretty much right out there in daylight.

    I thought this was a great episode, true to the general nature of the show. I thought the changeling was a strange little add, but hey, maybe those creepy little guys just need a friend like everyone else

    The definition of 'canon' kind of requires this episode to be canon, just like every episode to this point was.

    Personally, I loved this episode. It was great seeing Steven Magnet again as well as The Big Legbowski guys...talking! My favorite episode of the season so far. I loved the little quip that sweetie bell had about maybe it would be a friendship problem and be resolved in half an hour (like all episodes). I'm sure there's a lot of Dr Hooves that goes right over my head because I have never watched Dr Who. All in all, a good solid episode.

    Counting 2 parters as one pick 1. Magical Mystery Cure 2. Winter Wrap Up 3. Friendship Is Magic 4. Feeling Pinkie Keen 5. Lesson Zero 6. Luna Eclipsed 7. Canterlot Wedding 8. Boast Busters 9. Magic Duel 10. Look Before You Sleep I think Magical Mystery Cure is the episode that best shows off Twilights character. It is a summation of all that she has achieved to that point in the series and, of course, there is that major transformation. One part I like about this episode is her humility when she learns that she is now a princess. She doesn't quite know if she's up for it.

    I watch lots of movies on Netflix and every now and then I come across a memorable B movie. The one that comes to mind right now is Killer Mermaid. This movie features some of the worst acting I've ever seen in a home movie, much less a B movie. You know the acting is bad when you're praying that the girl in the skimpy bikini will be the next to go just to keep her from saying another word. Alas, she lasted all too long. This movie has some of the most beautiful cinematography I've ever seen. They shot it in an awesome location. It had some very sci-fy-esque looking special effects that were better than your average sci-fy special effects. So if you're bored one night and want some good B movie horror with laughs for the acting and great scenery, you may want to pick this one up AFTER you've had a couple drinks first, or you'll just turn it off after the first few spoken words.

    Well, finding this topic brought some well needed levity to a very bleah evening. Me and a friend I've known for 15+ years were playing some Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 4 and I had used a very crazy looking Pinkie Pie as my avatar, which shows up in your profile and on whatever weapon you're carrying in game..also shown to someone after you shoot them in the face. He noticed this avatar and the conversation went something like this; Josh - "Dude...what the f@*k is up with the pink pony avatar?!" Me - "Shut up, bitch...Pinkie Pie rocks!" Josh - "You've heard of Bronies, right?" Me - "Uhhh...yeah. Ponies rock." Josh (after a long pause) - "You are sooooooo da gay." Me - "Your mom would disagree, but she's kinda busy under my desk right now." Had some good laughs all around and went back to fragging. The topic hasn't come up again, which is kind of surprising because I talk to him more than I do some members of my family. He knows he can't use the gay line again because I've known him for more than 15 years and my kids call him Uncle Josh. At least I can blame my daughter for getting me hooked on MLP:FiM

    I'm finally getting the hang of basic Inkscape techniques. I'm still lost on shading techniques. Anyone got any good tutorials?

    I can't speak for anyone else, but I think it will be good having an episode dedicated to these characters that don't get much screen time. There are ones like Derpy and Octavia that will be good to see, but I'm most excited to see Cranky and Matilda again (besides the one brief appearance in "Fillivanilli")

    I'm 45. I had my hard times growing up with a mom/stepdad and separate dad situation, but my parents did their best and certainly could have done worse. As for half-siblings...I have a brother and sister that my mom had with my step-dad. I have never introduced them as a half brother/sister. I grew up with them as much as i did with my full brother and I'm actually closer to my little brother (half sibling) than I am with my older brother (full sibling). It's good to see in the voting results that there aren't too many haters out there...that is to say, people who hate for legitimate reasons (which is sad) and people who hate for petty reasons (which is also sad, but in a different way)

    I can't remember the name of the story but it involved Pinkie Pie teaching Queen Chrysalis how to bake ala a cooking show. It was pretty funny

    Wow, this is a long-running thread. I'm seriously bored. I've been on a conference call since 9:30am listening to developers talk about changes being made to an application. I'm QA so, not much to offer, but I have to be involved because we will eventually be testing these changes. On the plus side, I work from home, so at least I'm comfortable.

    I noticed there's a group for BABSCon attendees. The Ponyville Ciderfest is a con here in Milwaukee. This is the second year of the con, and it will be held Nov 20 - 22nd this year. It would be fun to see who on the forum is in the Milwaukee or surrounding areas and who will be attending this year. The only current guest on the Ponyville Ciderfest web site is Ashleigh Ball, but last year, there were a lot of great guests including Andrea Libman, Peter New, Michelle Creber, and Ingrid Nilson. http://www.ponyvilleciderfest.com/

    No, I'm new to Inkscape, but I have a good amount of Photoshop experience, so I already had an understanding of layers and masks and all that stuff. I also got a lot of help from videos on youtube. dashohalite has a whole series of videos that walks you through creating these images and he has some great shortcuts and tips. The thing that is going to be really hard is getting some of the cool shading effects that I see people using in Inkscape. Those guys are the true Inkscape ninjas
