  1. I've got an Upstar 32" flat screen with an RCA sound bar. Simple but effective.
  2. I'm thinking I might have to take a break tonight so I can go help my roommate at work. She's on the night shift and she's sick. Oh, and I kinda need to go to the bathroom. Enlightening, no?
  3. I'm studying for a mandatory change in my job. I'm really sad about it sometimes because I love what I do and I don't want it to be different. I try to put on a brave face but I can't help crying sometimes.
  4. I've been on here for about three hours now. I'll probably take a break shortly and do a few chores around the house, but I'll be back later for more. After tonight, I'm taking another break from the forums because I need to focus on some other stuff, but I'll be back. I can't help it, I'm thoroughly addicted to this place!
  5. Humans may be articulate in their general design, but the ponies are toons. I'd rather be any kind of toon that a human goon!
  6. People who bash Bronies, in the ridiculous misconception that enjoying a well-made cartoon somehow equates to a shift in sexual preference, are simply ignorant. They jump on the bandwagon because they need to receive the support of their equally ignorant peers. Such small minds don't take the time or effort to recognize that their own insecurities and need for positive feedback shows far more weakness than they falsely judge others for having. Bronies love what they love, without fear of the judgment of others. That shows far more strength of character than anyone calling them gay for liking a TV show. So, on the natural food chain, Bronies would figure higher up than the cowardly morons who bash them.
  7. It made life a little brighter and a little more colorful. Everyone has shows they like, but the ponies go beyond being a mere cartoon. It just has an added dimension that makes you care about the characters and try to emulate them in real life. Anything with that kind of positive influence is a gift, and a deeply appreciated one. It just makes life happier. What more can anything aspire to do?
  8. If you love something, it would be abnormal not to have it anywhere and everywhere you'd want to have it. If it brings you happiness, go for it. And yeah, normal is a relative term, so only you can decide what's normal for you. Stay pony my friends.
  9. If I got kissed by one of the ponies, I'd get all weak in the knees at first. But then I'd kiss back with such vigor I'd turn their face inside-out. Now, let them have the weak knees!
  10. Probably casual these days. I got a little obsessed with it in the earlier days when I first discovered the show, and I still get seriously worked up when a really good episode comes along, but I'm keeping it in perspective. I buy a few little toys now and then, but just small stuff for fun. I have other areas of interest where I've gone completely crazy and obsessed over it and spent every dime I earned for years buying the merchandise from. That was (and is) Star Wars, and I don't think I want to get immersed in anything else to that degree. I'm too monogamous.
  11. Too many dog owners assume everyone wants to play with their dog. When my family used to have a dog, we kept him away when other dog owners came walking along. Our dog was finicky; sometimes he wanted to play with others and sometimes he wanted to rip them a new one. If I'd wanted to play with more than one animal, or felt my dog needed a playmate, I'd have gotten another one of my own. I don't know the habits of other animals; whether they're friendly or not, whether they've been fixed or not, and what I should be concerned about. If I'm well acquainted with someone and know what their pet's disposition is, I may consider it if everyone's okay with it. But not with complete strangers. That's just asking for trouble.
  12. Hey Frost Blossom! Nice to have you join us on these fine forums! You've come to the right place if you want to make friends and get to know your fellow Bronies and Pegasisters. I see you have a pretty cool list of interests. Yeah, we're going to get along fine. I'm looking forward to seeing you on the forums, and if you ever have any questions or just want to talk, feel free to PM me anytime.
  13. I like Furious 6 the best. The series took a step in the right direction with Fast 5 by turning it into something more than a street racing story. With 6 it became more fleshed out in the new dynamic they established with 5. The 7th one is close in the running, but I like 6 best because it had a lot of night scenes, and I'm a night person.
  14. Telstar. It's the same as Pong but with a different name. Also a few games on Commodore 64. Not great in the graphics department but they worked if you were bored.
  15. "I See The Light" from Tangled. No song says it better.
  16. It often seems that people overlook anything that isn't 'here and now' but Disney classics are classics for a reason, and Disney re-releases them every few years because there will always be fans who appreciate them. I love Cat From Outer Space. It's one of my favorites, but I don't think they can capture that kind of innocent magic anymore. What would be due for a reboot is The Black Hole. That one never did come out quite right and could use a dusting off.
  17. I agree with LHfunk in that Delores Umbridge is the most irritating character ever. I loved reading the Harry Potter books, but why did J.K.Rowling have to take the most annoying one of the series, with the most annoying character, and drag it out the longest? It seemed the entire book was just one scene after another of Umbridge being a bitch and getting away with anything she liked. Centaurs were too good for her. Die, woman, die! Runners up for this dubious honor are Starlight Glimmer and Kylo Ren.
  18. Both art forms (traditional and CGI) have their places. I personally prefer the traditional style. There's just something about it that speaks to the artist deep inside me. At the same time, I love a lot of CGI movies too. Tangled, Wreck It Ralph, Zootopia and so on are among my favorite movies. With CGI being as popular as it is and cost efficient, there will be no stopping it. And this is fine since art in any form should be free to flourish. But sadly, the real art form known as cel animation has not been allowed to flourish because CG gives the studios too much of an excuse to take the easier road. All it takes is one good traditionally animated movie to wake the studios up, since they seem to be immune to any form of intelligence beyond the most recent box office charts. I sincerely hope to see the return of cel animated movies, with as much care and effort put into the writing as with any CG offering. That's what'll open eyes and get traditional animation back on its feet. I for one am looking forward to more from Hullabaloo. It looks awesome!
  19. I used to be a regular on Equestria Forums (under a different name, so don't bother looking me up), but I had some negative experiences there and decided to come here instead. It worked out because I like it 100% better on this side of the fence.
  20. The 'Biscuit is back...for a very limited engagement.

  21. Rarity Belle from Beauty and the Beast Rapunzel from Tangled Joy from Inside Out Princess Leia Hermione from Harry Potter
  22. My place of employment is Disneyland, and I work with kids and families. I'm currently training for another position within the park which is more backstage, at which point I'll work more with other cast members.
  23. Creamed corn, Lima beans, sour milk, vomit, dog breath, farts (the real nasty gamma bombs that have been gestating in the pipes for days) and the old leftovers in the back of the fridge that I forgot to toss out last month. :awuh:
  24. I usually try to be an optimist....but ah, hell, it just never works!
  25. I'm allergic to freshly cut grass, most pollen and, I regret to say, cats. It really sucks too 'cause I love cats!
