    Oh my gosh I wish I had the time. I have a pretty cool storyline (I think) and I'd like to be able to get it on paper. But I am planning a wedding, and Animal Crossing, work, and my future husband becken me. Or maybe I will suddenly use my time to write a story. I got a degree in it in college, you'd think that people would give me wads of cash for writing stuff~

    I didn't want her missing from my collection so I spent an extra ten bucks and several hours over the course of a couple of weeks and made her have show-accurate hair. I broke her neck plug so I had to super glue he head back on, bit her mane is beautiful.

    I think that she wasn't used to the fact that he was a dog. She probably forgot that he changed too. The change wasn't as drastic so it didn't occur to her immediately that he shouldn't talk in their world.

    I hope that people aren't actually putting the brushables and the EqG dolls on the same level of bad... At least the brushables have show-accurate features. The only thing really off is the hair. And that can be fixed. I even went through the trouble of completely rehairing Rainbow Dash because the colors were in the wrong places. Bit the rest of the hair can be styled. EqG is terrible though. Holy hell they're ugly. That's what happens when the toys get made before the character styles get finalized. Sign.

    45% Fluttershy because we share the same base personality type and some of our strengths and weaknesses. For example she is very empathetic (and some have claimed that that is why she does not give herself to others easily because it is overwhelming) and I am as well. I am not shy, per say, but the main weakness that I have in common with her is her Flutterrage. It takes a LOT to get it out, but I am scary as heck if it ever does. Provoking someone like Fluttershy is a baaaad idea. I also used to get made fun of when I was little. 40% Twilight because the way that she interacts with ponies on a day to day basis is similar to the way I speak with people. I also enjoy learning and trying to find new information about certain topics. Twilight's introversion is more similar to my own - she is not shy, she just recharges her energy through being alone. But she loves her friends and she is a people person despite her introversion. 15% Rarity because I have a bit of a creative streak and while I am not talented with a sewing machine, I am with singing and writing. I also admire beauty. I also have strong opinions about balancing quality with budget and not just getting the cheapest thing out there... not really sure if Rarity is actually like that but I can see her being like that more than anyone. I am also a fan of finding ways to make my outer beauty (hair, face, nails) healthier. Not religiously, but enough to get facials and use salon shampoo (that I get for cheap at Ulta!! Love that place).

    I think that we are all getting ahead of ourselves over here. It is hard to imagine what Twilight marrying Flash Sentry would look like because we barely know Flash. There is very little information about him in the movie and everything else that fans claim to "know" is simply headcanon. And we can't really have a definite answer for what a marriage between the two of them would look like... it wouldn't be that much different from trying to figure out what a marriage with an OC would look like with Twilight.

    I know that you are only 10 years old, but the way that forums work is that people like to discuss things and ask questions when they don't understand or they disagree with what you say. It can be hard to understand why we are asking questions but a lot of us are either teenagers OE adults so we are used to asking questions have having certain discussions in a certain way. I hope that we do not scare you away though. I know that it might feel like we are being mean but the truth is that we are just treating you like a teenager or an adult because our ages are not as obvious on the Internet as they are in real life.     If you sell the RD promo for $150 or less on eBay I will buy it. Or you can just sell it to me privately. It is the only series 1 card that I need.

    You do realize that you are headcanonning, right? You have facts in here, but what struck me as particularly headcanon was that Flash Sentry had this all planned out, that he pulled the knight in shining armor act. I can see where you can come to that conclusion, but it is NOT fact. It is your headcanon. An alternative interpretation of his actions is that he was rooting for Twilight the whole time that he knew she was running against Sunset. Remember that HE broke up with HER, not the other way around, and that makes a big difference. It is possible that he broke up with her because he realized that she is a bad person. We don't know this for sure, but it is just as possible as Flash being a player. Either way, all arguments about his character are pretty pointless. What Flash actually did in the movie and people's interpretations of his actions get muddled together and people are pretty set in their initial reactions to him. Because Flash is such a blank slate, people fill in the blanks without even realizing it. This is actually the main reason why I want to see more of him in the show. Background characters in this show have an agreeable fanon. Flash Sentry is conflicting. If we saw more of him, and he got development, then a lot of the negative headcanon would probably be dispelled.

    Your mindset is actually why people hate him, too. Think about it. They see that he is after Twilight, or that he is a cool kid who plays guitar, and all of a sudden we have a chunk of the fan base assuming the worst and giving Flash a bunch of terrible qualities. There are a handful of people in this thread who make claims about Flash being a terrible person, like the person who said that Flash is a smooth player, are all making shit up based off what they initially saw of him. But none of those things can be proven true. It is all headcanon. And headcanon is great in its own right, and you can be in love with your headcanon as long as you can step away and remember that it is only headcanon. It becomes a problem when people confuse canon with headcanon.

    Your brother seems reasonable enough. It just sounds like MLP isn't his thing. He is not fond of the cute humor that MLP has but enjoys the cynicism of Adventure Time better. I like AT too but not as much as MLP, and for different reasons.

    While I doubt that BronyCon will move to Chicago, it would make me very happy if there were a large brony convention taking place there. I have heard wonderful things about ACen. Chicago is a great place for that convention too. If there were some sort of Midwest Brony convention that grew to a significant size, Chicago would be a great place to have it. I would personally prefer going to Detroit since it is closer, and there is lots of hotel and convention space in Detroit as well, but because the largest brony convention is nowhere near the size of the largest anime convention, there don't need to be as many large brony conventions to begin with, and people are more willing to travel to Chicago than to Detroit (even though Chicago is not necessarily safer than downtown Detroit, but PR makes it seem like Detroit has crime at every corner. Ugh).

    I find it sad that CEOs for television companies are so out of touch with the average viewer that they would be more willing to allow people to be thrown on jail for spreading awareness of their show than changing their business structures to reach out to more viewers and make more money. Every respectable business makes changes to support the needs of their consumers. The television industry is deluded into believing that their archaic structures are working the same way they did 30 years ago, when in reality the only reason why the television industry is thriving the way it is is BECAUSE of YouTube and other ways of streaming content, legal or illegal.

    You know, if people want people to stop streaming copyrighted videos online, there is a way to stop it. Networks: stream your shows online and put in ads so that you can make money. This is for the people who, let's take MLP as an example, do not have the Hub and/or are not available to watch MLP at 10am. Streaming MLP online is what made the show so popular, and why Hasbro has all of our money. If this law had been real by 2009, we wouldn't have a fourth season. Also sending people to jail for posting MLP episodes or any other show is such a waste of money. Why are we punishing the people who help spread awareness of the show? Ugh.

As DashForever mentioned, if he were to go with RD for real then that would be awkward. But it's a decent enough ship, and you could even make cool names out of it... Dash Sentry? lol

    So yesterday, I took some statistics and percentages and whatnot. The female percentages are more likely to change than the male ones simply because less than 30 women have voted but almost 80 men have voted. Here is what I got, as of yesterday: Men: 23% like Flash 19% dislike Flash 54% are indifferent Women: 41% like Flash 14% dislike Flash 45% are indifferent This is very interesting to me. Maybe we just need more women to vote, or maybe women are far more likely to enjoy Flash despite having seen so little of him. Also, the haters for both genders are an EXTREMELY LOUD minority.

    A note about wigs. Wigs that are "cheap" are never worth buying for cosplay. And it can be really hard to find what you are looking for when it comes to balancing between your wallet and quality, but know this: if you spend money on cheap junk, then you have wasted all of that money for something worthless. If you can invest in a decently nice wig, do it. I know that you are in Australia, but there is an American wig company that ships internationally that I recommend. They are inexpensive for the quality that the provide in each wig, and they really are nice wigs. I have a link to a rainbow wig that I know is popular with Rainbow Dash cosplayers.http://arda-wigs.com/collections/stardust Now, don't let this be your only option. See if you can find online cosplay communities of people in your country and see what their options were. Google is your friend. Also, putting together your own costume is a lot of fun. I don't sew, but there is a thrill about being able to find the exact right article of clothing on eBay.

    When the card was first being sold on eBay, it was being sold for $95. I believed at one time that that was a ridiculously high price. Now I wish I could get the card for that low. XD I do believe that at one point the card was sold for $900. Thankfully the card's price is shrinking...

    For what it had been going for previously, I would say that $200 isn't that bad. For a while it would cost $300 or more. The price is slowly dropping... and I would have dropped $200 on the RD series 1 promo recently if I could bring myself to do that.

    My Toywiz binder pre-order shipped today!!!! So excited!! Finally my series 1 binder won't be so full and heavy. Also shout-out to Lady Rarity Pony for sending me a Twilight Sparkle BronyCon promo!! I just got it today and it is awesome. Definitely one of the best-looking cards in the set.

    1. The name of your thread is "Every pro Flash Sentry argument ever addressed." That's where you said that those were the only arguments running through fans' heads. Unless you have a different definition of "every" than the other people on this forum. I do not know anyone who is trying to demand that Flash Sentry be in season 4. Pretty sure at this point it is impossible for that to happen. I am disappointed that he will not be further developed as a character in season 4, but I can live with it. All the other pro Flash people I have talked to can live with it too, despite their disappointment. 2. If the post isn't addressed to just anyone who likes Flash Sentry then who in the world is this thread addressed to? Sure the points that you rebutted do exist among fans, but as far as I am aware no one who makes these points makes them as arguments in a logical debate about his character. And if there is anyone who does, those people are rare and not very vocal. I see more animosity against Flash Sentry than blind devotion. And you can make arguments without being venomous. You do not need to be insulting towards other people and you do not need to make a thread for the sole purpose of "outsmarting" people who have different opinions from your own. And if you experienced blind devotion from Flash Sentry fans on deviantart, then go to deviantart to make your thread. Telling us on this forum that we need to stop making stupid arguments about Flash Sentry is a little like going to a Bible study full of normal not-crazy people and telling everyone that they need to stop picketing at funerals saying that God hates fags. What you are doing is not as extreme, but still.

    LOL I can guarantee that you haven't read any of MY posts because I have never made any of those arguments. I am not going to address the points that you make in any of them because you seem to be under the impression that people who don't hate Flash Sentry are little whiny bitches and the people who hate him are intellectually superior. Your post is venomous towards people who hold a different opinion from yourself and that is not worth a response from me. I would be HAPPY to discuss why I like Flash Sentry enough to defend him when the haters feel like he wasn't worth a damn. But not if you are going to assume that the only reason why I would be doing so would be to repeat the arguments that you deluded yourself into thinking must be the only train of thought running through fans' heads.
