I'd like to be a unicorn. But only because I think it suits my personality to be magical. I've always been a little... strange and fascinated with magic. Don't really think a pegasus suits me because they seem more adventurous and bold, and I fear heights. Although I honestly wouldn't mind being an earth pony. I think they're sort of underrated because of their more subtle display of powers.

I'd love to fly, but I think I'd rather have magic (provided I was actually good at it), so I'd prefer to be a unicorn. Magic would just make life so much easier and would be a decent substitute for hands.

Earth Pony for me. Sure, magic or wings would be cool, but being an Earth Pony just seems more practical. Flying would be fun at first, but you'd get used to it and it wouldn't be anything special anymore, and magic's cool, but using it would kinda seem like taking the easy way out a lot of the time.

 

And if I wanted to fly, I'd just build a Pinkie Pie-esque contraption.

Only people born like Twilight can do all that magic, and that's like 1% of the unicorns, and you'll probably be like Trixie when she tried to take down that ernsonminor, she could only move light weight things, which is weak, so if you would like to be like Twilight, then you have to read those boring school textbooks, not those fun novels that you read everyday.

Pegasus, why? Flying would be fun, I could visit Cloudsdale and show off my awesome wings. The fact that you can walk on clouds is so awesome. It would also be a nice way to get around places.

Unicorn. Here are my reasons:

• Magic
  • Wing-creation Magic
  • Efficiency (think about Twilight's magic at the end of Applebuck Season)
• Nobility
  • If you had to choose between Appleloosa (Earth ponies), Cloudsdale (Pegasi), or Canterlot (Unicorns), which would you choose?
  • Okay, bad question. But Cloudsdale reeks of capitalism and Appleloosa's not for me.
• Jobs (as a class)
  • Notably, the Earth ponies are known for their agriculture, and the Pegasi are mostly serviceponies when it boils down to it (weather factories).
• Lack of limits
  • I don't know so much about this one, but magic seems a lot more mysterious than flying and athleticism.

Earth pony anyday! Yes, magic would be cool ,but people would expect me to do stuff and Twilight has to put allot of effort and study into making those wings and im lazy. All that flying around would make me dizzy too...
