When a pony does it's 'good' but when a human does it...

Have you ever come across the fan fiction with this messed up morality message? (in my opinion)

 

Let's say Royal Guard Ponies strom into a human village and kill everyone in it. Yet, the ponies are seen as the 'good guys', even though they slaughtered hundreds of people, most of the humans not even being soldiers. The ponies being the 'good guys' because they are the superior species or some other drivel.

 

But when humans do it in retaliation to what the ponies had done. Let's say a band of angry human knights want revenge, who then go to a pony village and kill everypony in it. And what they done is considered (by the narrator) evil since they killed ponies, since humans are inferior or some other drivel.

I don't even know what's the point of this story. What is the inducement of the slaughter? Why are the ponies behave like slayers? Superior race? What? In my opinion this story seems to be without rhyme or reason.

Some fan fiction is literally like this.

 

A pony does something horrible to a human = good.

 

A human does something horrible to a pony = evil.

 

It's that one-sided in certain fan fictions.

The story tends to be written by a misanthrope.

Writer believes ponies are superior. Therefore gives them a licence to whatever they want on lesser species, yet still maintain the moral high ground.

The only fan fic I can think about is the Coversion Bereau, where Equestria invades earth by ponifying humanity, but that makes them forget their identities and later they go to war. I didn't even bothered to read it

It's not even that I disagree with your point, but you're focusing on the negative so much that rather than exposing some dark undercurrent of the fandom, you're accentuating the negative. Read My Little Dashie, It's a Dangerous Business Going out your Door, Through the Eyes of Another Pony, the number of fanfics celebrating humanity in one way or another VASTLY outnumber the ones that tear us down.

Yeah, that's why I only had Conversion Beruau in mind, cynical stories about innocent humans being slaughtered by ponies and being seen as something positive are pretty rare. Though, from my experience, ponykind meeting humanity are not common to begin with (I only remember four, two of them clops ), as these stories usually revolve one or few humans ending up in Equestria or viceversa, not their whole comunities meeting

Never heard of such stories though that sort of mentality made me think of history; countries that commit atrocious acts will deny, downplay or celebrate it and denounce others that do the same thing. If such stories exists, I wonder if there are also similar stories told from human perspective and ponies are portrayed as enemy.

I never understood why this particular ponification of Hitler was made blue. I've seen some of the artist's other works and seems to draw odd artworks of things in general including MLP. Anyway, the concept of racial superiority wouldn't be unique to Nazi Germany though.

I'm not sure about the other stories (never read them) but I hated My Little Dashie... when Celestia came to take Dashie away from her human father.

 

OK, sure Equestria may need Rainbow Dash to defeat evil or something.... but that wasn't the case. They acted like overpowered, perfect mary sue ponies with absolut perfect morality... yet they are a bunch of condescending jackasses to humanity.  Declaring things we are evil and blah blah blah!

 

If they acted that way to me as they did in that story I would have told them to "F&£k off! You're not taking my daughter a way!" 

 

If however, they pleaded with me in a nice way like 'Equestria needs Rainbow Dash' or something... I would hand her over and say my goodbyes and cry.

The others wanted their friend back, and all Pinkie said to any effect on the differences in worlds was remarking what an alien's kitchen looks like.

 

I think you are projecting and this is why I think you should cool it a tad. Again, I don't disagree with you, but you seem to see misanthropy even when it's not there.

I suppose it's because they like ponies more than humans. I for instance, usually like animals more than humans too.

I could understand why'd they write their fanfic like that. Either way, if it were to be in reality, both would be equally horrible of course. Slaughter is never right.

i've seen fanfiction showing that humans are superior, too. It can go both ways. Most people will say humans are superior because we have technology. I disagree, though. I can't understand why technology makes someone superior. People who have lots of technology and are savy are superior to people who live simple lives and don't need all that fancy stuff?

Well the ponies have high tech too. Arcade machines, film projectors, skyscrapers, hydro-electric dams, we've seen all of this in Equestria. The writers of those fics mainly are writing purely as a reaction to the former, not a true statement. Those that do sight more our history and spirit as evidence rather than cause of our technological progress.

The ponies are bit overpowered, yet they in character and not xenocial monsters I see many such fics. And uh, actually help humanity.

And as I've critiqued before, that's not better, that's just swinging the hatred back the other direction. The truest and most noble alternative would be to portray Equestria and the ponies as close to canon and humans as how we really are. Both sides would embrace the other as friends.

I think when they say superior they may not just mean by tech and power put are more pure and  innocent then humans like the ponys are some how even though they are committing xenocide, I think its ether people who just like weird story's and people who really do hate humanity its an actual thing. About the writers maybe fans of the w40k series hate humanity or just went through something painful in their life that makes  them think society these days is cruel and sick.

The closest I've seen was that one crossover with Ed, Edd, n Eddy called "Friendship was Deception". In that story, it turns out the cartoon was merely a ruse to get people to lower their guard, so they could enter their world and slaughter everyone (or take the world over, either one, I forgot). The kids ended up fighting back, and winning, but it was kinda sad, although I think they acted very out of character, so not really.
