I really love the soundtracks to the legend of Zelda games.

 

I think the best of all of them is A link to the past, which is my all time favorite game. Every single song in this game is memorable. From Hyrule Castle,  to the dungeon themes, to the overworld themes, it's just wonderful. I even listen to it sometimes on mp3.

Ed Harrison is a brilliant composer, and.sets a unique atmosphere of immense melancholy. And he even released it on physical CD

Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

 

 

This theme song...because of it, I didn't mind that it took half an hour to get anywhere without the warp song. Hell even after I got the warp song I didn't use it unless I had to. Made the game more immersive and I got to listen to this masterpiece as I sailed across uncharted waters

 

Shadow of the Colossus 

 

 

The intensity of that first colossus...This song only hammered it in exactly what you were getting yourself into..

That's a tough one! I'd say Super Smash Brothers on the Wii U but I don't know if that really counts since it takes music from several games. I might have to go with Wind Wakers or Twilight Princesses soundtrack. Those are some of the best. :3
