Zap2it's usually really credible, and when S5's episode was leaked, it was the same episode names as the ones on Zap2it

Those episode premises sound safer than a Swiss bank account. I knew they were getting more limited in scope.

 

On the other hand, we'd might as well title this the "Stranger Than Fan Fiction" speculation thread since everyone's got an opinion on that. Although the title describes its own nature perfectly, I'd wait until the premise comes out to get back on that. Right now I'm somewhere at "this is either going to be really good or its going to suck hard, and the fandom will be divided either way".

 

Also, did we forget that there's going to be a Changeling in one of the episodes?

Dungeons and Discord huh? On the one hand, it's obviously a Discord episode, which haven't been some of more liked episodes. On the other hand, it's a Dungeon and Dragon's parody. That alone has me sold. 

 

Stranger than Fan-fiction and The Times Are a Changelings just sound like they could be false, but apparently these have been confirmed to be legit. Are we going to get some insight into Changeling culture? Maybe follow-up on that one changeling living in Ponyville? Will Chrysalis show up?

 

...Probably not that last one, cause Twilight has grounds to vaporized Chrysalis on site after what she did the last time she showed up.

Well time for the Changeling hype to start I guess, people are gonna be all over that one.

Id be pretty upset but frankly I don't think she'll even be in that episode. She doesn't HAVE to show up just because some other changelings do.

Last year they moved around the airings and changed episode numbers too. We were not originally supposed to have three episodes with Rarity in a row. I forget which one was swapped ... check my edits

 

That makes sense. We don't usually get three episodes starring the same character in a row. Of course, I didn't mind since it was an excuse to bring out my Rarity plushie.

I just realized that all of the descriptions are the same for the newer episodes. XD I was like "Wait a sec, why are Pinkie and Rarity investigating so many restaurant problems?" XD If these are indeed real though, some titles are rather interesting. Strange Than Fan Fiction? That one really makes me wonder. Fan fiction is already pretty damn strange at times, so I hope DHX is not trying to compete. Also, do I detect the return of the changelings? o_o Though the other list that was posted also sounds like the finale will be centered around them, which that seems to be a given.

Not for THESE episodes specifically, but when this list of leaked episodes was posted on 4chan like 2 weeks ago, the finale was listed as "the seventh element". And, while I have been expecting it, I have been nurturing SLIGHT hope that Starlight wasn't going to be a new seventh member, and would be demoted to being like zecora or discord after this season (Since she's basically just there to interact with twilight and that's it, making me think she's just there to be twilight's prop)

 

And the fact that these episode titles are correct makes me sadly worry that we are, indeed, in store for a giant Starlight glimmer episode two parter with her as the new seventh EOH.

Well, that would actually make me really hopeful for the episode: See, my hopes for a "Dungeons and discords" episode would be that Discord puts the mane six into a D&D game and acts as a killer DM (Like how power ponies sucked them into a comic book).

If its original title was "Sizing you down" it would seem likely that that is the plot: Since discord shrinking them down into a game is what I'd take from that title.

Zap2it revealed these new episode titles, however the synopsis and air dates are incorrect. So I hope that's updated with a new synopsis and the correct episode air date after summer's finished. I would say that's great news as today!
