Think S7's finale will air before the movie?

I really hope so. I want to focus me on the movie when it comes out. But I also don't want to spent not enough attention to the episodes. :scots:

If Canada keeps doing the 2 episodes per week dealio they have been doing, then it will. If not, then nope. Which, I will find it endlessly weird if they don't finish up the season before the movie. I would like to think they would want to have as much focus put onto the film as possible when it releases. Like, ALL the focus, considering how big of a deal it is.

If the USA sticks to one new episode a week, they will be at episode 21 of Season 7 the weekend of t he movie's debut in October, so the season will finish while the movie is still in theaters, if not during the hiatus for when it comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray.

I don't think so. If Episode 12 (Discordant Harmony) premiered on August 5, that would mean Episode 16 (Campfire Tales) will air on September 2, then Episode 21 (Once Upon a Zeppelin) on October 7 -- that's one day after the movie premieres in theaters. So yeah, the season won't end until November 4.

I would not believe so. They have scheduled the release date of the official My Little Pony movie first on November 3rd and now it's October 6th. If a new pony episode in this season airs once every week (on a Saturday) and after the hiatus ends on August 5th, then we can't finish off the seventh season before the official pony movie in October until like late of that month.

Season finale's in late October, because episodes 12 and 13 air on the same day.

Princess Twilight Sparkle always do legendary stuff with magic in Equestria. Time to blast from the past.

Nope, and I think that's a good thing, the movie will very likely drive interest in  the show, and people will go start watching it (or watch it again for those who stopped watching) and what better to get people into it than another big epic following a few slice of lifey episodes.

Also, I don't want to compare the movie to the finale when watching hte movie, which I know I will be doing in my head, so I am happy the finale is likely airing after.

Unless Canada or Australia come to the rescue with tons of early releases, not likely

I think it's more for pragmatic reasons rather than allow the season to be over. For whatever reason they've decided to premiere the movie at that date, with the popular theory is that it'll face a weaker competition in the animated movie industry at that date

I always compare each episode by it's own merits. People are now afraid of the rest of the season because they won't be more Discordant Harmony or The Perfect Pear

We'd have seen toys for that by now :P Also, never going to happen IMO based on the trends in show I can see. (sadly)

Thinking about it though, I kind of worry that the finale will be the OPPOSITE, and feel phoned in and pointless, since they both don't want to upstage/compete against the movie's events for epicness and because hasbro would never let them do anything that would potentailly make a good toy for the finale, since they can't make any non-movie toys until next year.

They might do something to reintroduce the EOH in some form though to give them preparation for more toys of some kind in S8.

Everyone above is right. The season finale would occur a month after the movie premieres. Not that I mind.

That's to bad, but I think I will not see the movie until December, because then it will be on the internet. I'm really looking forward to it. :twi:

The dates changed! So it's Marks and Recreating that's airing one day after the movie!
