food Ketchup on the Fries or Ketchup on the Side?

Ketchup on the side, too much ketchup on the fries just gets them soggy and my fingers all sticky when I try to grab my drink.

on the side. Im not a massive fan of ketchup. I love vinegar, so my chips are always swimming in vinegar - which doesnt taste that great with ketchup. 

Plus I prefer chips with mayo as the sauce.

On the side... while I might occasionally put it ON the food, I only do that if the amount of ketchup that comes out of the bottle/packet is in a thin enough spray to not saturate the fries. Most of the time though, the side is preferable.

Tbh I really don't eat ketchup too often with fries, only if I'm in the mood for it. But when I do, it's always on the side.

Depends on what kind of fries I am eating. At times I will eat the fries with ketchup on it and with a fork. And at times I will eat fries and dip it in ketchup.

Many people have already pointed out, but I will too:

Putting any kind of sauce directly on the fries, makes them all soggy after a while and you risk getting your fingers even greasier than just holding the fries. Not to mention, you control the amount of it that goes on each fry, as opposed to the top layer being all soggy and the rest being left dry.
