Where Are You?

The only two hints I ever give out are "California" and "The Mojave Desert".

And no, despite popular belief, it DOES get cold in the desert. Well, not as debilitating as, say, Neptune...

But still,... Cold. (Scratch that; It does get cold enough sometimes to form this weird hard clear rock-like substance that most people would call,... What was it, "Ice"?)

And boring. The only major highway interchanges here are a T-bone and what appears to be a bunch of work-in-progress parclos.

At least the water's really really clean; I could drink out of the tap if I wanted to. Same with the air; I could drink that out of the tap, as well.

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I've been in central Iowa now for a few years. I tend to hide from winter in my apartment. But Spring is my favorite time. GREEN everywhere! and the trees have so many flowers they look like cotton candy.

I just love the idea that I can climb a tall building and see green as far as the eye can see. I'm used to brown landscapes. and Iowa birds come in every color! In AZ they are brown grey or black. Still, my favorite bird is somewhat drab, its the robin. I love that bird for its song and its often the first bird i see in Spring.

Still, the land is good. but I'm not retiring to snow and ice....nope. I'll go back to the desert. It may get hot, but there is no humidity and a 2 hour drive takes you to mountains and forests.

There, I revealed nothing for stalkers and got to talk about my home.

See that city in the back? There's where I live. Antofagasta, Chile.

Now closer

So basically I live in a city by the coast of the driest desert in the world, the Atacama desert, with llamas, sand and nothingness for hundres of kilometers. I love it actually.

Hum, so you are posting pictures? Cool!

Now that is a wonderful city. Ocean breeze. and most importantly...NO SNOW!

I could live there!

Larp lives in the northern borough of New York City. The Bronx. Land of the blacks and Hispanics.

Most of the fun stuff is in Manhattan. Which is a short train ride away.

One of the few interesting things in the Bronx is Yankee Stadium.

You can see my house in that image, but I'm not telling which one is mine ;)

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Here is a mall I used to work at (the EB Games). I drink coffee at that Starbucks on occasion and walk across this bridge returning from the library every now and then (I trust you guys).

According to some survey somewhere, most like Rainbow Dash. Was not expecting that result but I suppose it makes sense.
