What is your favourite steak sauce?

It's number one, IMO.

I don't use steak sauce because steak has a wonderful flavor by itself it cooked properly.

Cook garlic and white onions on olive oil till golden. Then mix ketchup soysauce, werserchier sauce and oyster sauce and brown sugar......walah!

A-1 is the best, and much better than Heinz 57 Sauce, which overpowers the steak. Sometimes I'll go with a tad of BBQ sauce if I haven't got any A-1 handy.

One thing I will NOT use is ketchup! Ketchup is poison to a steak!

I'd go as far as to say that steak which has been cooked properly and is a decent quality cut, is actually significantly better without sauce on it. I'd never put sauce on a steak I make at home.

If I'm eating a minute steak or something though I'd probably go with béarnaise.

To me steak sauce is steak sauce. I just get the store brand because it's cheaper and doesn't taste different from A1 to me.

Yeah, really good steak doesn't need sauce but I usually don't have really good steak and sometimes it's also good on burgers.
