What would your afterlife be like?

There are many theories of what life may be like after humans die, but that's not what i'm asking you today. I sure many have your own theories on the so-called afterlife but what i want to know is if you could decide how your afterlife is. What would it be like, who would be their, would it be on earth or some place else, How would you fit into this place. I would love to hear your thoughts on how your afterlife plays out.

 

This thread is simply meant to ask if you could create your own afterlife what it would be like, It does not involve your theories or beliefs on the topic.

If I had to pick a place to go in the after life...I'd say...

Equestria because it's just so amazing and would definitely be a paradise for me.

I'd choose Equestria, if and only if all of my friends and family from this life would all be willing to join me there when it was their time to pass away. We would all be ponies, and it would be exactly like the show, with the wonderful characters, beautiful nature, and peace.

I could come up with a multitude of interesting afterlives, but, quite frankly, I think the best thing that could happen after I die is...I'm dead. I wouldn't want an afterlife. I'd just want to put an end to it. Coincidentally, this is also what I think is the most likely scenario after I pass away.

i HAVE died before. i was 11, in 6th grade. i used to be very religious but since the incident i have chosen to turn against my faith. but thats a story for another time. (the religion is).

 

i had appendicitis and needed an appendectomy but was 6 days late for the procedure and when they applied anaesthetics it flushed out the remaining clean oxygenated blood left and shut my heart and brain off. the doctor's said i had been clinically dead for 6 minutes about 20 minutes into the operation. after 6 minutes i started beepin and they got back to work. im all good now but i remember the inability to remember, feel, sense, let alone exist at all. it's nothing. i saw, felt, nothing. i simply ceased to exist. there was no sentience, no conciousness, nothing. im not sure if that was what really happens and i try to stay open minded, but that leads to my current desire in afterlife:

 

in my dream afterlife, when we die, we simply. no weird heaven, hell, or purgatory. no judgement, persecution or reward. simply the bittersweet kiss of death. when im dead, i wanna be dead. i dont wanna live again or in some other form. simple you know?

I want my afterlife to be based off the anime Angel Beats, where I can go to school, join the SSS and fight until I regain the memories I've left behind after I passed. That''s the first thing I thought when I read this thread and Imma stick with it.

My afterlife would basically be me, going into the white light. And on the other side of the light, it would be Equestria. I want my afterlife to be exactly that, in distinctive detail.

 

I want to at least be born again, but as a pony to just enjoy life in Equestria. To learn the lessons in Friendship is Magic.

The only really ideal afterlife to me is reincarnation. Reincarnation as another human. It'd be cool if it was a process which kept on repeating, but your 'soul' never really knew what had happened in the past.

 

It's ideal to me because I wish I could have another life. One more normal...

 

Other afterlife ideas don't sound so great. Eternal life in a place like heaven would be torture. While death is a sad thing, it must come to us someday. Eternal life sounds good... When you don't think about it too much.

My choice in afterlives would be a permanent and timeless lucid dream where everything bends to my whim. I could design my own reality as I see fit and create a world without suffering, conflict and war. It would esentially be a Utopia, but one that encompasses all that exists within the dream unless I choose otherwise. Fiction and non-fictional characters will merge into one universe!

 

To some, that sounds horrible because conflict can be interesting. That is why I specify the control factor, I control the reality and not the other way around.

I figure reincarnation would be best. As terrible as the world may seem, there are some really beautiful things about life itself and I think it would be awesome to experience that again. I would want my soul to be reborn into another humanly body, retaining just a bit of my personality but no knowledge of previous lives and just start over from there.

I'm pretty sure we just stop once the brain stops but I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

 

I wouldn't mind living as another human but I think I would like to be someone with wealth and power so I can actually make a difference in the world. I have been poor and I was not a good person when I was younger. I'm a better person now. Now I could live selflessly and use wealth to help people if I had the chance.

 

Oddly, I've become OK with the idea of non-existence.

Actually I've thought of 3 scenarios :

If I could choose my ideal afterlife I would choose something where humans had the technology to travel the multiverse. The things you would be able to find out there in places whaere our laws of matter, physics, and time don't apply fascinates me.

For me, It would be...A paradise I want a simple, beautiful, peaceful after life. That's what I believe...unless you are evil or committed a murderer or something. But I want to have a safe, place to be when I die!
