Sodas. I could understand calling them pop, but calling all of them cokes? There’s only one that’s called coke. Coca-cola.

EDIT: I have never heard “tonic” used in my life.

These questions are always interesting, even to a non-native speaker like myself. :P I'd say soda, or in some cases soft drink. Not sure why, but those are the names I'm most familiar with.

As for coke, I'd never even call Pepsi that, let alone any non-cola kind of drink. That's just plain wrong to me! :please:

Pop, but where I currently live "coke" is commonly used and I hate it. My fiance will ask me for a coke when he wants a Dr. Pepper and I don't understand it. Coke is Coca-cola only.
