Who is your favorite pegasus?

I'm going with Fluttershy, because shes my favorite pony overall, so obviously she ranks pretty high for my favorite pegasus to.

 

I like alot of the pegasi on there though, but I really like Fluttershy, along with the rest of the mane 6, so yeah.

I voted for Rainbow Dash. I think her character is really great. A cuddly Pegasus who wants to be awesome and skilful in front of her peers, but can still instantly make the switch from bravado to innocence/puppy eyes. It's always entertaining to watch her and her cluelessly swelled head <3

 

Because she's so into her flying and her appearance, she's a great means of having an episode where a pony tackles something new. Seeing Dash try out a book given her character having no interest in books to begin with - I like that. And accepting Scootaloo as a sister, even though she's not a family character - it makes her experiences in the show really interesting.

Well, judging by my avatar and my love for this particular pony, I'm going to have to cast my vote in for FLUTTERSHY.  

 

She is just too darn adorable to pass up. However, I really do like most of the ponies on the list. Pegasus are my favorite by far

Oh come on Fluttershy fans.  We have to give Rainbow Dash SOME competition.    Really. 

 

In my short time here, I've written enough on Fluttershy to compose a book.  There was some heated discussion over whether she was overrated or not.  So I addressed some of the more common misconceptions and conclusions in a lengthy blog here:  http://mlpforums.com/blog/587/entry-3467-a-message-to-fluttershys-detractorsand-supporters/  I've posted a number of other things on her.  Just about any time a thread popped up and Fluttershy was relevant in some way, I put my two cents in.  Here is what I posted in a thread called "Why we like the ponies we do." 

 

My favorite pony is Fluttershy. This is due to a combination of an ability to identify with her, some traits I find admirable, and the fact that I think she's the most fascinating member of the Mane 6. When I first saw her, I thought she was just a dull, shy character that was there mainly for sympathy, a few laughs, a­nd to be mind-numbingly cute. I never disliked her, but I wasn't very impressed with her at first either. But as time went on, I saw just how multi-layered she really is.

 

The most striking thing about Fluttershy is how she is actually a courageous, strong-willed mare who is beset with a complex of phobias and hang-ups. People who don't know her very well dismiss her as a stereotypical shy cartoon coward designed to be used for comic relief and little more. Well, here's a short list of this "coward's" brave accomplishments.

 

-Confronting the cockatrice that just turned Twilight to stone.

-Fought back life-long psychological scars to participate in the hydro-tornado.

-Stayed safe and didn't become too dependent on her friends for help during a free-for-all with the Changelings. Remember she was the only one who lacked the physical tools to fight the enemy troops. That is a tactical deficiency, not a courage deficiency.

-Agreed to host the god of chaos in a bid to convert him for the betterment of ponykind.

 

While she didn't show the kind of growth over time Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash did, Fluttershy too has changed. Her best friends' best traits are starting to rub off on her. In Keep Calm and Flutter On, Fluttershy showed a Twilight like diligence in taking on Princess Celestia's assignment and an Applejack like perseverance to follow through. All of these things resonate with me. Although I would never want to be like Fluttershy, I can't help but cheer for her every time she overcomes her greatest adversary: Herself.

Hm, well, I have to say I love Spitfire a lot to. I love to imagine her in a mid-forties female plane flier get-up, sort of like Amelia Earhart. (Yes, I know she's from a different time period.)

 

But before I realized how much I love Luna, I adored Rainbow Dash. I love her get-up, attitude, and overall dream scenario. Sure she has a lot of flaws, but that's just what makes her so much more amazing! <3

 

I have a strange love of Pegasi, and have for a long time. They are actually some of the first mythological creatures that I ever heard of, and I love the Greek theme they have in MLP FiM (which is fitting, because Pegasi are Greek in origin). 

 

Seriously, me too. Pegasai were pretty my symbol of all adventure and my dream to fly. The same can be said with Unicorns. They stuck to fact that they originated from Europe, so they kept the medieval royalty theme.

Cloud Kicker is a favorite of mine personally. I dont know why, but that color scheme is really cool looking. Also I like her cutie mark, simple and clean. She also seems to be featured in alot of episodes, and even Equestria Girls! So its fun looking for her in the background. Overall, my favorite, and a great background character!

well by far pegasus ponys are my favorite ponys, and rainbow dash and fluttershy are my favorite mane 6 ponies. (with pinkie pie in 3rd.) i would have to say Rainbow dash, is my all time favorite, but fluttershy is so close that i just say my favorite mane 6 is the pegasus ponies to save time. i mean how badass would it be to fly through the air and do tricks. and chill with the wonderbolts and vist cloudsdale, sleep on clouds and shit.

Well, it's a tough pick between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. I also quite like Derpy, but just not as much as the two Mane Six ponies. For me, the Mane Six always come first. Between RD and FS, I have decided that Fluttershy will get my vote because she's the underdog between the two. But at the end of the day, they're both awesome, so let's just love 'em both.

I voted other. My favorite pegasus is Cloudchaser.

 

She is the most unique pegasus out of the whole bunch besides Rainbow Dash, in my opinion. First of all, I like how her coat is a pale persian blue. It looks real nice. Then, she has that awesome spiky hair with a very cool color scheme of pale cerulean with white highlights. To top it off, she has two cutie marks. TWO!   She may be a background pony, but she is definitely one of the coolest, if not the coolest background pony I have ever seen. Also, she has a nice voice.
