Would You Voice Act?

XrosOver

Imagine that DHX was gonna give a background character a voice but didn't have the funding to hire someone would you volunteer for the position? Afterwards you might have the mentality that you are that character. Exp. You could be Octavia or Apple Fritter or maybe even a changling that had a line.

personally, I would totally voice act. It'd be awesome.

The mind of the host will desperately try to create memories where none exist. Simple right?

I'd love to, but I don't have a wide-ranged voice and I don't think it would sound cute with a pony at all. :x Maybe I'm just harsh on it but I've tried coming up with orginal voices of my own before, and, not good.

I'd better leave it to the professionals.

Eh, well i like acting and stuff, despite not doing it that often or having lots of chances to, but i don't exactly know how good a voice actor i'd be, i'm far from experienced, and i am not really that talented in it in the first place.

I suppose it'd be fun to do once, i mean long as i could why not?

Of course, right now i'm a closet brony, so i doubt i would for that reason, but assuming that wasn't an issue i probably would try it. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity, and even if i suck i may as well.

Besides, at the very least i can have fun with the acting, even if as far as voices go i'm not that great.

It'd be fun regardless i think, atleast to try once.

My voice is like any other teenage boys' voice: Whiny and cracks like all hell. (No offense to anyone here) If a character was like that, i'd be perfect for it.

Hell... Yes...

Voice acting looks like the most fun job anyone can ever have.

Although I do say that because voice acting is one of my life ambitions.. But just one of them..

Have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over..

I've been told before I'd be a good voice actor as I have a wide ranged voice, but I don't think I'd take the chance if offered.

I can perform in front of friends and that, but I get very nervous and get stage fright easily. It'd be too hard for me.

I have a tenor voice that's got nothing special to it. I could probably pass as a villain or some pessimistic character at the most. I would take the offer if it suited me.

My voice is deep and a little awkward. Though the idea of voice acting for one of the ponies does sound really interesting and I imagine it would be pretty fun to try out, despite the uncertainty of whether or not I could pull it off. :P

I'd definitely go for Big Mac first though. I'm pretty sure I can get all them "Eeyups!" down. :P

Other than, I guess I wouldn't mind trying out for any random background stallion.

Would not want a big speaking role though. Heck no. My deep and awkward voice would not be cut out for that lol.

I have a weird range of voices. Despite being a girl, I can do a pretty low voice, but I can also do a high pitched voice. I do shy-sounding voices best, it seems.

If I had the opportunity to do some voice acting I would take it up in a heart beat.  It looks like fun, so why not?  When I drive and no one else is with me I have discussions with myself using various accents ( I'm not crazy I swear  ).  It would be cool to put some of those voices/ accents to good use.

I'm currently doing some voice acting projects, and I've been told by my Youtube subscribers I have a pretty nice voice, So yeah TOTALLY!! Bring it on DHX!! I have a pretty wide range of voices I can imitate, so this would be easy. I could probably go for Octavia. ;)

Grah, sometimes I wish my voice would just give in and be high-pitched just for the purpose of helping voice act for MLP and other things...

But I suppose with my ever-polished British accent I could make a decent Doctor Whooves, perhaps. Though, I may sound a little young...

I'd love to voice act, I believe I have a wide variety of different voices I could bring forward. So it would be fun, but I know it's hard so it's probably not something I would do for a long time but if it was offered to me I would take it.

Well, since I'm female, and this is a show directly focused around females, I'm sure I have some kind of advantage.

I love to practice voices and sounds, and I can go pretty high, and decently low. I mean, it shouldn't be that stressful and hard, like Tabitha says. They give you the storyboard, and you do your best in acting out what you see and your lines. And it usually turns out alright. Besides, all professionals started out at one point, right? So, I would go for it definitely.
