Depends on their field. For straight-up comedy I'd have to go with HowToBasic. He (or she, we never see them) is so funny - he has videos that appear as genuine tutorials for things such as how to bake bread, or how to cook a steak, complete with authentic thumbnail and description. Then when you watch the video, it's ridiculous. Things are haphazardly poured so that they spill all over the worktop, ridiculous ingredients are added, and the end result is just a complete and utterly hilarious mess.

 

I absolutely love HowToBasic. I imagine it would be Pinkie's favorite youtube channel due to its overall randomness. I mean half the time I have no idea what will come next, with the exception of an egg (or many), being smashed somewhere.

 

I love Achievement Hunter, which is a part of a larger channel Roosterteeth. They do a whole bunch of Let's Play and other game related videos, including Rage Quit videos. They are most well known now for their absolutely hilarious Minecraft Let Play's, I highly recommend watching all of those starting at the beginning.

My favourite youtube and only one I actually follow is Scott Manley. He's best known for his Kerbal Space Program videos. He makes me seem so bad at the game, he is an astronomer after all. One thing I like is that he explains the stuff he does and throws in some good science facts as well. I've learned a bit from watching him. His comment sections are also calm and not filled with controversy like all the top youtubers. Scott also just has a nice sense of humour.

You guise.. I'm disappointed. He's one of my favorite youtubers on youtube. I mean, yeah, probably some would find it "un-funny", but c'mon. Some of his videos are plain stupid, I agree, but some are comedy-gold material. One of my favorite videos of his:
