Nerf guns, do you own them?

So I just discovered tat there is a nerf gnu society at my university where you can have capture the flag ect with nerf guns !

 

Does anyone else own a gun or modified one? I'm going to buy a new one and hopefully put some decals on it so any ideas on which gun would be great !

My sister owned one a few years ago... I have no clue where that went. I actually can't believe she bought one, they're boring in my opinion. I also can't believe Nerf guns actually became 'a thing'.

Sadly we had no society like that but a good handful of us in high school back when I was Quirky junior bought some guns each and had an all out war on school grounds XD teachers were so but hurt but it was THE GREATEST :3 dual pistols ftw

Nerfer here, it's nerf or nothing! I love Nerf, have a few modded and some unmodded. Never did any paintjobs, just the AR-removal, some silicone lube since you can't use something like petrolium jelly I think it's called, basically it will ruin your O-ring. I have had that happen but it wasn't the lubes fault. I fixed it with another o-ring and a lot of teflon tape. I'm not sure if there is a nerf community in my country but I still love modifying them. I'll probably get back into modding, always wanted a longshot. Do some real mods, can't do an angel breach since well I'm not sure where to get brass. But I guess I could find some PVC I haven't really looked for it. I would have to find some PVC and some K-12 was it called, not sure what the spring was called. It was a powerful one yet it didn't totally ruin it. I want to create a beast, so if there would ever be a nerf war at school I would just say: "Take a seat, *reloads* I got this.." Then just blast them with my overpowered longshot or even better find a titan and block that over-pressure valve. Full power, it's illegal in probably all nerf wars since well, that thing is just dangerous. Unless you haven't done anything to the over-pressure valve it's still a beast that will hurt. I had always planned on modifying a stampede but never got to it, I don't know I sort of stopped being into Nerf it got expensive. But who knows, maybe I'll get back into it. Nerf is very cool, especially the modding part. Perfect entertainment for any age.

Yeah, I would like to try airsoft but Nerf is really the next best thing (being able to do it on uni grounds is awesome !)

 

Nerf is also kinda cheap compared to airsoft, the price puts me off airsoft a little tbh.

I used to own one. Those guns were so much fun to use when I was younger. Shooting darts at my unsuspecting prey and taking cover so not to be hit by their return fire. My brothers and I would always grab our nerf guns and start hunting each other down in the sugarcane fields. It made for an intense game since you had to very aware about your surroundings. I miss those days. Maybe I should buy a nerf gun again just for memories sake.

I own a Vigilon from the Vortex series. Don't use it that much. I recently discovered that I might just have a little too much reflexes from TF2. I can't help but constantly reflexively hit people right in the middle of the head, lol.

I Used to have a crap-load.Name a nerf gun.I have,but that was until I had no one to play nerf with,and realized that it was a waste of money,and space.So I donated most of my nerf guns to goodwill,but I kept a few of my nerf guns though.Modding some of them is a pain.

Yeah, I still have one sitting in my closet that I don't really mess with. It's that massive one called the "Vulcan" with the tripod stand and the feed belts. That was the last Nerf gun I bought before I stopped messing around with them, but it's always cool to pull out and shoot some guests with whenever I'm feeling goofy or playful. That thing eats through batteries like a madman though, and it takes freaking D batteries!

 

I remember I used to have some more when I was even younger, but I don't remember their names very well. I think I had two called the "Maverick" and the "Firefly". One of them had glow in the dark darts and also emitted light... I think it was the "Firefly" but I can't remember.

When I was a kid yes... I had like 10 of them sadly I didn't have any of the ammo for them but I just played without them. Most of the time I didn't care about the ammo...

I don't use nerf guns anymore. Ever since I got my airsoft gun, It is like the only thing I use. I used nerf when I was a kid though

Used to have a few when I was younger. Nothing special. I used to have neighbors who spent like... $500+ on them, but they enjoyed them so I was okay with it. I found them to be meh, but they were still somewhat enjoyable.

Why not ask on a Nerf gun forum? I assume there is a forum for everything. They would be best suited to answer which gun is best with each category like reloading, ammo, size, speed, etc. 

Nerf guns... if I had only known they may fetch some money with collectors I would not have allowed a family member to give them away. Those were expensive. Darn impulsive buyers in my family.
