The Diver 760 October 11, 2016 Share October 11, 2016 I do when I actually have sunglasses. They keep getting lost or destroyed. :/ "I could have been happy above if I'd never donned the copper carapace and dipped my head beneath the waves to hear the muddled man-made sounds. Distorted and dreamlike droning. The whir and thrashing of a distant propeller, the tumultuous thundering thud of fogbound freighters. Mud underfoot, no sights, except the grasp of a diver's trained hand, dreaming of distant lands knowing all the while this is what I love, not the blue skies and wondering faces above. Canvas, rubber, brass, copper, and glass. Leather and lead, mud and sweat, heaving around in dark, damp depths seldom seen by most yet talked about by all. As if a sunny, happy place where mermaids and seahorses play and chests of gold are lain bare, untarnished by salt and time for all to grasp who are bold enough to go below..." -"Deep Sea Diver", Steven L. Chuckles4lyfe 441 October 11, 2016 Share October 11, 2016 Hmmm... I just realized that I wear my sunglasses 99% of the time when I am driving. Rarely will I ever get behind the wheel w/o them. It helps prevent me from getting glare from the sun. Plus best pony wears them all the time, so it only seems fitting that I try to emulate her style . #Squadgoals "But that day...The day I discovered racing...I proved that the legends were true. weesh 690 October 11, 2016 Share October 11, 2016 Hmmm... I just realized that I wear my sunglasses 99% of the time when I am driving. Indeed. though I read that as "99% of the time when its daytime" I had skin cancer when i was 18, so melanoma of the eye is a serious concern for me. I own four pairs of sunglasses that are at home, work, car, and a bonus pair in case one gets moved. I never want to be without. 1 Send me pictures of ponies in hoodies
Derplight Sperkle 1,016 October 11, 2016 Share October 11, 2016 Always wear sunglasses while driving (of course when its sunny out). My car visor is broken so it's difficult to bring it down. PiratePony 8,486 October 11, 2016 Share October 11, 2016 I always wear sunglasses while driving. When it's sunny, I pretty much always wear sunglasses while outside. I have very light sensitive eyes, and I squint almost all the time...which is annoying to feel and annoying to see. Bazz 57 October 11, 2016 Share October 11, 2016 No, but the futures so bright, I gotta wear shades. I don't even drive yet, so no.
KatonRyu 1,034 October 11, 2016 Share October 11, 2016 I do, because the visor is just too unwieldy sometimes and I'm too lazy to move it around if the angle of the light changes. I even keep my sunglasses in my car because it's pretty much the only time I wear them. (They cost €4,- so if someone were to steal them I really don't care). Invincible 2,092 October 13, 2016 Share October 13, 2016 I do, sunglasses help block the light reflecting off the road that goes in my eyes. This improves my ability to drive safely, so why not. Ganondorf8 11,450 October 13, 2016 Share October 13, 2016 Since I don't drive, I don't wear sunglasses in that scenario. In fact, I don't wear sunglasses period unless they were the clip-ons that go on top of my glasses.
Cirrus. 1,093 October 27, 2016 Share October 27, 2016 I wear sunglasses most of the time during the day when I'm driving. They are polarized also which cuts glare, so I wear them when it's raining too. The only time I don't wear them is if it's overcast and not raining. Flutterbattyyy 331 October 27, 2016 Share October 27, 2016 (edited) I love using polarizing glasses! They're the best. They block out the bright glares but don't darken the shadows. https://www.lenspick.com/blog/reduce-glare-with-polarized-sunglasses/ Edited October 27, 2016 by ElementalFluttershee 1 "I'd like to be a tree!" -Fluttershy (Everfree Explorers Discord Group) (Equestria: Into the Wild Trailer) (Map of My Hikes.) Lucky Bolt 35,109 October 24, 2018 Share October 24, 2018 Kinda makes it hard to drive if the sun is shining directly in my eyes. So yes, I wear my sunglasses while I'm driving, but only if I really have to. ☆ My socials ☆
DixonTheAdversary 1,634 October 25, 2018 Share October 25, 2018 I do when either: The sun is too low for the visor to block it out or when the sun is reflecting off of snow.
