Octavia forever!! i love classical! it is like listening to vintage metal! it has everything! energy! power! feelings! i love it.. in particular tchaikovsky

Same here actually...  Maybe the Vinyl fans just haven't shown up yet.

 

I prefer Octavia (if you can't tell by my avatar and sig), mostly because I love classical/orchestral music, I love the cello, I love her fanon personality (supreme amounts of classy), and, perhaps most importantly, her bowtie is superior.

I enjoy both ends of the spectrum rather well, despite I find most dubstep to be unoriginal rubbish thats just other peoples works mixed into dance themes that aren't half bad while someone claims credit for something anyone could do.

On its own it doesn't stand, but for a dance floor.. not bad most of the time. But its still often very unoriginal remixes of someone elses hard work with generic keyboard/mix board additions.

 

But since they've long since merged techno into it, I'm forced to concede to liking it since I do enjoy Daft Punk (actually makes, and remixes their own usually rather than relying on other peoples work to remix. )

 

But I see Scratch more as a representation of modern music in general, NOT solely dubstep. That and her very 1980's look is awesome since I'm very much still an 80's kid at heart, and her mane and sunglasses = major win

Octy is just an awesome representation of classical music in its purest.

 

Overall.. Its probably the only "shipping" thats unofficial that I have liked enough not to gag over. Generally, I avoid that whole crowd.. they scare me sometimes....

ok don't kill me i respect everypony likes and stuff i just don't like it.. you see i'm an oldie... i prefer a good Rolling stone song, or some classical or even metal... but no electronic music... since i'm an electronic engineer i find it souless somehow... but again my opinion

 

btw still Octavia forever..my favourite pony pony at all.. and also try to play some stringed instrument with hooves! she is amazing! no need for fancy horns and magic!

for instance this is the FIRST electronic music ever made.. the sounds comes form broken germanium transistor and overvolted red plate vacuum tube penthode.. it is from a french guy

I have to pick Octavia because I'm more of an orchestra/classical person. But I'd prefer a pony that plays a wind instrument, of course. =P
