If I was in Equestria as a pony, and Pinkie Pie really did have such feelings for me, then maybe. Honestly with just being in Equestria, I would be a happy enough stallion. I would be elated and thankful enough to befriend any of the ponies. 

 

But if I had to, then sure I guess, a lot of the mares are pretty cute. Especially Pinkie Pie.

Not compatibal. The chromosonal count would be different. The offspring would not be able to survive. And that's even if the two could concieve. However, if changed to the same species, then it is definitly possible... sucks, I know.

That has been the case in most fanfics I have read where this has happened, of course in most of them the pregnancy was possible in the first place due to magic playing a role.

Why not?  It's not something to be entered into lightly.  Despite the obvious differences between our world and Equestria, I would assume all the same considerations about forming a very tight friendship, building a foundation on common hopes and values, and a strong desire to be together for life come into play.  I don't think romance is the end all and be all of existence, but with the right one, it's possible.
