I met one at my school.  She and I became friends.

I also saw some people dressed in full body pony outfits at an anime convention.   They were taking pictures with real little kids, which, for whatever reason, were at a convention which featured events like "Talk Yuri to Me" and "Eroge-Porn with a Plot".  How they got there I don't know, but that's beside the point.  Anyway, these guys were having their pics taken right and left while people around them wondered what they were doing there.

This thread appears to be related to the My Little Pony franchise and/or the Bronydom in general. Thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner.

This is an automatically generated message, by the way.

I have a friend that sort of likes the show, but isn't very involved. I met someone at Space Camp for Interested Visually Impaired Students that is a brony/pegasister (that was the first actually involved brony I'd ever met. I was ecstatic :3) and there's a brony in my Art class (I'm shy though, so I've only spoken to him about three times, and all of those times, he was the one to approach me. Still, I'll be sad when the semester ends.)

EDIT: Also, my little cousin likes ponies, but that's not much of a surprise considering she's 4 years old. Still, she'll watch the show with me. Well, about half an episode, anyway.
My art teacher (and my old art teacher) don't watch the show, but they both love my pony art ^-^

My grandma wouldn't be considered a briny, but she loves my drawings, thinks that ponies (especially Fluttershy) are cute and will watch with me if I ask. She also tolerates me ranting on and on about pony-related stuff that I'm excited about. xD

... Actually, yes. Two, going on three.

One is a friend I met in ninth grade, whilst he was in eleventh. Sadly, I can't talk to him too much now, since I'm in eleventh and he'e in college, but he LOVED Fluttershy.

Then there's one who IS in my grade. She (yes, she, I say she counts) is a bit more modest in the fandom than I am, but nevertheless, she loves the show, and I enjoy talking to her about it when I can.

One more friend isn't currently a brony, but I'm forcing getting him to like it. So far, he's a fan. And he loved the movie, so that's a plus.

There are also quite a few bronies on an Ace Attorney RPing site I go on.

So yeah, that's how it is.

Three of my friends watch the show while I have also seen both an adult male working at Toys R Us who brought up the fact that I was buying pony toys (his favorite pony was Applejack), and a teen female working at Gamestop who spotted my Derpy Hooves shirt. I guess they're just easier to find around here than normal.

Funny this topic has been brought up, actually, because I just went to a sleepover at a friend's house who's brother is a Brony. There were pictures if ponies here and there around the house, and you don't know how much I wanted to remark something... But I decided to keep quiet; I know what my friends can get like. I still failed to actually talk to her brother though, but it would be weird because he's about 4 years older than me...

Her and I are trying to make a little community where we are not working we are very alone....but I think theirs guys out there...just us 2 girls for now.

I have quite a few friends who are bronies and have seen some people around school and around my hometown wearing mlp related stuff, so while I'm not friends with all of them, I know they're out there :P

Have I seen any in public? Oh heck yeah. I used to see a ton of them back when I lived in Dallas.

Do I know any? Other than my brother, no...unless some of my friends are "closet bronies" like me. My brother is a relatively new brony and he's pretty open about being one and when I told him I have been one since 2011 it freaked him out because I was so good at hiding it.

Actually, now that I think about it, a couple of my friends MAY be bronies, but I haven't really confirmed it yet.

I know two people. One is my best friend who I got into the show. Second was a guy I met in college who was a fan. He wore merchandise such as a Vinyl Scratch shirt.

This one's a bit hard I guess. There are definitely a good number of bronies in my city of South Bend. However, we don't seem to be the loudest.

If you saw me, just in the background, you would not have immediately known that I was a follower of MLP. Same with some of my other friends. There are a lot of other characteristics that just kind of dilute the pony element.

For example, one of my friends has just as large a passion for other shows as MLP (Such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, and a lot of anime!), while another gives a vibe of a grunge metalhead who isn't a fan of today's music, and enjoys keeping to himself and his guitar. Last one I will mention is actually from the streets. A guy who has trained to defend himself and escape from trouble.

All these friends of mine are actually mostly bronies, and are pretty knowledgeable and complete fanatics. However, there are other traits to them that really contrast with ponydom and make them hard to spot out.

I guess the same could be said for others in my area, as the only way I could hope to find them would be to talk with them, or to maybe spot some MLP merch in a crowd.

That's my town at least...

I've hung out with my fellow local musicians Mathematicus and Stars in Autumn a few times a piece. Also got to see about 500 or so of us at the local convention over a weekend. I definitely can recommend going to a small convention if your city is big enough to make it possible.
