(I don't know if this has been done yet) If you were a pony on MLP, what would your dream job be and why?

I would be an alicorn healer and nutritionist. I would use science and alicorn magic to make medicine and herbal

remedies to help pony kind. I would also try and help the farming ponies to grow more healthy veggies and all.

I would probably be a unicorn so I can levitate the phone to my ear, and not use my hooves like a filthy plebeian.

merc type but I would still try to

help out ponies on the side as much

as i could and only ask for a bite to eat

and a place to sleep on the side!

 

Also half the reason to be a merc would

be to explore the world and get to see all

types of cultures and races other than ponies!

should be if i was in equistra,

 

in the show sounds more like getting a role speaking or what have you.

 

My dream job would be a hench pony LOL or sub boss like those earth ponies who mugged daring do.  I think it would be so cool to play a dreg of society in equistra.

This is a great question, because I see myself quite different in Equestria than in real life =)

 

In real life i'm very much objective about life, I love math, physics and gaming. And in many ways, in real life I try to achieve stability over all. A house, car and job. When it comes to work, I also dislike how real life treats it, you are simply a machine to produce results.

 

If I were a pony however, I would live in Equestria, and the rules are different. Your work is your passion, so it reflects your emotional side more. I actually had a though experiment where I thought about what I would do if I suddenly were teleported to Equestria as a pony. I realized much of what I would do reflected more with my emotions, than in real life. For example, in real life I hate cooking. Or rather, I might enjoy dishing up something good, but because of the internet, every dish is already explored. There is nothing left to strive for except mastering mass production of dishes that works.

Also working as a chef in real life is one of the least intriguing jobs I can imagine, given the repetition and strictly following a menu.

 

In Equestria however, I imagine being a chef would be a lot more fun. Instead of mass producing dishes, you would be more experimental and daring. Ingredients would be rare not because of cost, but because of them being a rarity. And as you explore amazing tasting dishes, you can share them with friends and have a great time. Some of the best memories made, are food memories =)

 

And I would without a doubt be a pegasus. I mean really, having the ability to fly... I would probably spend a lot of time in the air, just sailing the wind high in the air, looking down at the world. It would simply be amazing. I find myself going for jogs simply to enjoy nature. If I could fly...?

 

I would probably be the most laid back pony ever ^^

 

 

 

 

Actually this also made me realize that I would be quite different in a "perfect" world. So I have tried to change myself a bit to match how I would be happy in this world. For instance, I have decided to go a whole week without any entertainment technology from next Thursday. I have also gotten some of my friends and my whole family to participate in this wonderful week =)

The reasoning behind this is simple. Easy entertainment like the internet and TV locks you away from social interactions, and prevents you from realizing yourself in the creative fields you excel in! No pony ever got an internet cutie mark, if you catch my drift =D

 

When i'm at lack of what to do, maybe I end up trying to cook. Something I would never have done normally.
