What Political Parties would the mane six support?

I'm sure that everything that human political parties stand for would be banned from Equestria along with the parties themselves. They would be seen as anti-friendship. So the ponies would be part of the friendship party.

 

Perhaps if we were discussing the human versions of the ponies using US parties as a reference, then Fluttershy/Twilight would be leftist while Apples/Rarity would be conservative. Pinkie would be neutral and Rainbow would be a non-traditional party.

Also, I think both Applejack and Fluttershy would support "Die Grünen", an ecological party in Germany.

Twilight: Probably the Liberal People's Party, as they have a pretty big focus on schools and learning.

Fluttershy: The Green Party(Nature Party). Duh.

Applejack: Center Party- used to be the Farmer Party, now more of an industrial one, but being the traditionalist she is , AJ would probably still throw her vote in for them. Otherwise, the Moderate Party(the swedish Conservatives).

Rainbow Dash: I dunno, actually.

Rarity: Probably the Moderate Party, since it benefits her as an independent industry.

Pinkie Pie: She'd probably pick a different party every year just for fun.

I think in Equestria the political parties would be represented in a Monarchical Parliament, with the parties being 1. a Party representing the interests of The Crown, 2. official Opposition to keep them in check, and 3. Independently elected MPs.

 

I don't know enough about American politics to speculate on Republicans vs. Democrats.

Personally, I feel if they took the time to study human politics the Mane Six would prefer to stay away from it and keep their own government just the way it is... but that is just my feelings on the whole thing.

Twilight: Independent, though I could see her supporting the Justice Democrats.

Rarity: I could see Democrat, but likely Independent because of their corruption.

Fluttershy: Green Party. I'm 100% sure of that.

Dashie: Wouldn't care.

Pinkie: Wouldn't care.

Applejack: Probably the Libertarian Party, but I could also see Republican.

Raised with royality and being part of an elite family. Tipicially people raised into a political elite family are moderate.

Idk maybe Democrat? Likely wouldn't be political involved though, because people with lots of friends topically don't get into politics.

Despite Tara Strong being a hardcore Democrat, Twilight strikes me as far more Independent/Moderate/etc.

Also I clearly only knew about two political parties back then so here’s an update

Applejack: Conservative. Business owner and farmer, those typically lean right

Fluttershy: the biggest libieral hippie in all of Equestria. Or the green party if she’s in Canada

Rainbow Dash: Why the hell did I put democrat? She seems like she’d have views all over the place

Pinkie: Yeah she wouldn’t give a damn about politics. In fact, she’d probaly hate politics due to all the fights they cause and start her own party. The Birthday prty

Rarity: That’s hard to tell. Don’t know why I said republican. Maybe because buisness owner. But she might be more like a liberal libertarian.

Twilight: Moderate. Sorry Tara Strong, but I can’t see Twilight not using logic to realize going too far in one direction is not good.

Twilight: Moderate, probably independent. She likes unity, not irrationality and division.

Applejack: Republican. She has more conservative values; she believes in the virtues of family and hard work.

Rarity: Democrat for sure. But not too far left, because she's a business pony.

Rainbow Dash: Republican. But unlike AJ, she's more of a patriot and I think her loyalty would translate into nationalism.

Fluttershy: Green. In favor of protected lands and justice for animals. Also a pony who puts kindness before any form of national pride.

Pinkie Pie: Independent. She is the biggest non-conformist in Equestria, marching to the beat of her own drum. She just wants everyone to be happy. She doesn't care how to make that happen as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

Nationalism first since they go above and beyond to protect the Equestrian kingdom and work to make it better. They also help with other nations and those also have a benefit of one less enemy to deal with. Also they take pride in their ancestry and history.

There is smaller progressiveness in the present time of the Equestrian culture compared to the past when they were resolving the bigger hurdles like the three tribes coming together.
