    The only people that use Bing seem to be people that are so technologically inept that they don't even think about what search engine they're using and just use it because it's what's there in front of them. If google were the default search engine they'd be using that. It's sort of like how technologically inept people use Internet Explorer instead of a superior browser because it's the default they don't think to use something better.

    I'd bring my laptop, mouse, headphones and charger. Who knows, maybe they'd have the same type of electrical outputs that they do in the US. It's worth a shot at least. I'd also bring some advil and tylenol because, like the above poster, I get headaches a lot and would want to have something to help against them. Also some coffee grind because, even though they probably have plenty of coffee in Equestria, it's always nice to have some of your own.

    I'm so un-famous here that I came to this thread hoping to be more recognized....I guess I'll get there someday if I contribute enough. For now I'm probably a 2/10 at best.

    It all began for me in July 2011 when I watched a youtube poop of one of the episodes (specifically this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWmDcujkIjw ). At first I thought it was just another uninspired kid's show and had no idea about its following but as I saw more and more parodies of the show I became more curious about it. Soon after I found out about the show's following and its fame/infamy on the internet and decided to give the show a shot and a month later, I was a fan myself.

    Sounds like someone has their tinfoil hat on a little too tight. I seriously doubt anybody is using this show to control the masses and carry out any kind of agenda. Religious symbolism? Pagan warship? How do these things affect us? And wouldn't you agree that some kind of governing power is necessary to keep society from falling into chaos? And that maybe the reason Celestia gave Twilight the status she holds because she sees potential in her and wants to see that Twilight fulfills it and does the world good with it? Please, for your own good, stop over analyzing things and making everything out to be government conspiracies. Step it up senπ

    When I get headaches every week, sometimes twice a week. It used to be a lot worse, at one point I got them semi-daily and they were pretty bad, but it's still no fun having a weekly headache and having no energy or brain power because of it.

    Nobody in my family knows I'm a fan of the show. I don't think they even know of the show or fanbase's existence, which is fine by me. I have a very low, if not nonexistent powerlevel though so It's not like I even have to worry about hiding anything.

    Rainbow Dash seems to have a pretty similar personality to Tomo Takino from Azumanga Daioh. They're both tomboyish, athletic, in-your-face, somewhat immature, and confident on an extreme level. Pinkie Pie seems to be somewhat like Haruhi Suzumiya in that they're both very cheerful, extroverted and a bit outlandish at times. They also both have powers and abilities that nobody else seems to have.

    I'm eating ramen now, after seeing this thread. I probably should have read the replies before making it...... , I took the noodles and water w/ seasoning and added in some scallions for flavor. Guess I'll have to add in some of this stuff next time.

    I'm thinking at some point I might want to install a simple OS like Ubuntu or Mint and just use Windows 7 on a VM for games. Is there anything that really makes any of the linux OS's stick out over Windows if I just want to do simple stuff like internet browsing/games/classwork or should I just stick with Windows?

    I prefer google like the rest of the world . I actually took that bing vs google thing when I was just screwing around, that bing themselves hosted and google won out every time. Google just has better results, a better interface and appearance and less annoying crap on it. Yes, it tracks you but that's not bothersome enough to make me use something else and I use ghostery to block tracking cookies anyway.

    Fellow atheist here. Just wanted to say that even if the idea of a superior being who tries to make people's lives better is completely ridiculous, people can still take some of the morals that religions teach and incorporate them into your life. If this has been said already than I apologize; it seemed too painstaking having to read through 112 posts just for that.

    Oh crap! I just hit Luna with my car! What do? Well, since the OP has changed things around a bit, I'd probably stray from taking my beloved pony waifu to the vet. Seeing as how she's an unrealistic-looking cartoon, it would probably bring up a lot of questions and general awkwardness, and since Luna is a superior being she would probably be able to recover from her injuries very quickly anyway. In any case, I'd load her into the backseat of my car, drive to somewhere more secluded and wait for her to wake up. Then I'd ask what she's doing here on Earth and how that's possible, see what I can do to help her and offer to let her live with me as long as she stays hidden, which she would probably have an easy enough time doing seeing as how she can use magic and is probably very knowledgeable in said field. Then we'd live happily together, keeping each other company and sharing our affection for one another (or so I'd like to imagine).

    I have medium brown hair and heterochromatic eyes, grey with a hazel ring. This seems to be pretty common from what I've seen elsewhere. I know someone who has hair like that. I really don't get how it's possible to have almost all of your hair brown and just have patches of blond but I think it looks pretty nice.

    Just start watching anime and playing vidya games. I don't know if those count as "interests" but they should take your mind off of ponies while you indulge in them. You can also find music, movies and TV shows that you like. Your life doesn't have to be all about MLP and it never hurts to expand your interests.

    Caucasian, Jewish guy reporting in. Just your typical white American mutt. Kind of surprised there isn't anyone else here who's at least part Jewish yet there are multiple people here who are part Native American.

    I'd have to say Yume Nikki is probably the strangest of all the games I've played. It's an extremely surreal experience with a lot of stuff to uncover. I've heard that LSD Dream Simulator is probably the MOST surreal game out there. It sure seems like it although I haven't actually played the game myself.

    I use Windows 8 on my laptop. Not my decision; it came installed on the laptop my parents got me on a black friday sale. If it were up to me I'd be using Windows 7 since 8 is just more tedious to navigate through and has a bunch of crap pre-installed on it that I have no need for whatsoever. I might look into Linux at some point, mainly so that I wouldn't have to worry about viruses/malware. I'm not the most tech-savvy person so I'd probably go with something like Mint. If anyone can give out any recommendations for Lunix OS's that'd be great.

    I can't speak for everyone, but to me, Luna is an idealization of everything I would look for in a partner. She's an outsider; she is reclusive, introverted, and socially awkward. As a lot of people in this thread have already mentioned, this makes her an easy character to relate to since many of us share the same traits. Since Luna's canon personality hasn't been fleshed out very much aside from these traits, it leaves room for us to speculate and idealize as to what her personality is actually like. Since Luna already has several admirable traits, we can add to those traits based on her pre-existing ones, creating a Luna in our own vision, as we want to see her. I like to imagine Luna as someone who is somewhat uncomfortable with close relationships, especially after her own sister banished her to the moon for a thousand years, but can be very caring and loving if she does become close with somebody. I like to think that she is extremely intelligent and inventive but also lonely and in need of love and partnership, which I and many others would gladly give to her. She would be intimate and fond of physical contact and would love to follow whatever your own interests are. If you wanted to play video games with her or watch something with her she would gladly oblige and would enjoy doing those things with you. tl;dr: she is very easy to relate to and form a head-cannon around that suits your ideals.

    I guess I'm neutral. I look out for myself and don't do much to help other people or contribute to any causes. At the same time, I don't do anything to hurt other people for personal gain or pleasure so I'm not evil. I kind of just coexist with the rest of the world, minding my own business.

    Black coffee master race reporting in. It keeps me awake and alert and tastes pretty decent when you use the right amount of coffee grind and sugar. I'm probably not doing my teeth any favors though between the staining and all the sugar I put in my coffee. I like birch beer a lot too, shame I can hardly ever get my hands on it so I usually have to settle for regular root-beer. Mountain Dew is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's so sweet and good-tasting.

    I never figured out how to snap my fingers so that's something I can't do. It was really awkward in elementary school when the class was doing a finger-snapping activity and I was (possibly- I don't remember) the only one who couldn't snap my fingers. I also can't talk in a high-pitched voice. Despite the fact that I'm well past puberty my voice still gets really crackly when I try and I just can't do it. One thing I do that I probably shouldn't is pull my fingers and toes out of their sockets. It's probably not very healthy but it's a compulsion and I can't bring myself to stop doing it. I also bite my nails and the tips of my fingers; again, it's a compulsion.

    I'd say that Death Note gets more hate than it deserves. Most people that hate it seem to do so more because of the fandom than the actual series. The series itself is pretty good for the most part (obviously goes downhill after a certain point) but, unfortunately, it tends to attract a pretty awful fanbase.
