sad A Canterlot Wedding-The Alternate Ending
TwilightDreamer replied to Wardaddy's topic in Written Fan Works
Now this could put Twilight and all whom she trusts and loves and whom betrayed her to the ultimate test. The events of the next chapter would spell disaster once more for the group after they managed to free Cadence. -
If her transformation were to take place after any other episode, that would just destroy the series and wouldn't even make any sense. For her transformation to occur, she would have to prove herself that she fully understands the magic of friendship. Just making her an alicorn out of the blue would throw things off and make no sense to the plot.

Do you think Trixie should learn REAL magic?

I'm willing to give her another chance but this time, she would have less episodes to write. I think the episodes she wrote were all right but the way that they're written with crappy and idiotic characterization is what needs improving from her. She didn't understand about the characters she was writing in her episodes and she, in one way or another, screw them over and just slap the characters and muck them up like that. Sleepless in Ponyville is not really bad, it's plausible but other episodes from her like Rainbow Falls are rock bottom for her. When she's limited to only 3 episodes, 2 or 1 or if she doesn't even think about writing another episode again (at least until she familiarizes herself with the characters and understands how to write episodes RIGHT), then I'll be happy.

Is Rainbow Dash really overrated
TwilightDreamer replied to TheMarkz0ne's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
She may be overrated in some cases in terms of popularity but that's mainly because she's more relateable to us in terms of how human she is and how she can be like us but actually back up to it while working towards it. Overrated, I think, is really a huge stretch since the Mane 6 are all equal and nopony's trying to outshine the other. -
Should we see a return of Megan in FIM?

Pretty much, but I think the episode revolves around Sweetie Belle and Rarity in terms of their sister relationship and the fact that they learned that sometimes, what some people may reprieve with their family members as a way to garner more attention can them, can mistake them for that when they really aren't in reality.

Why haven't Applejack's parents been shown?
TwilightDreamer replied to a topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
You know what, I've honestly no idea. If there was something tragic that happened to them like their early deaths, it could pinpoint Applejack, Big Mac and Apple Bloom's position in their family as orphans and that before or after Apple Bloom came, she, Big Mac and AJ were brought to Granny Smith by them since they possibly have some other businesses requiring their presence. -
Celestia's usually considered by many to be a weakling or a coward by many for everything other bronies said but in truth, she actually had a few valid reasons to remain in the background. It seemed like she was trying to make sure the truth about what happened to her in the past nothing but to many just setbacks and hope that no one would uncover the painful truth behind the stories that the new generations of Equestria are being told as of now. She was staying behind on crucial and dangerous matters since she's been through all of the things that made her suffer like. When she was stripped of the power of the elements after she was forced against her wishes to purify Luna of the darkness that fully tainted her, she was so devastated by the turn of events that she forced herself to undergo her greatest punishment for not being there for her little sister when she needed her most by taking up responsibility for both the sun and moon. She's one of the links to Equestria's survival and if she's killed off or destroyed, then the land would most likely fall to ruins and her fellow princesses and family would be powerless to rebuild Equestria as it once was. She put her life on the line when she faced Chrysalis in order to atone immediately for he sin towards Twilight and Equestria when she betrayed both for the wedding and her "niece" but it was under vain and unfair circumstances since Chrysalis sapped Shining Armor's love for Cadence. That was one of her biggest mistakes since she didn't actually and fully know what kind of power that Chrysalis had cunningly obtained and sapped off of her former Captain of the Royal Guard and that she could just died right on the spot had she taken the full brunt of the attack. She's a great leader alongside her sister and she's not really weak and not a coward in any sense. She just had some reservations that to her, are best left unanswered and that she didn't want to talk about if she was thrown into question.

That would be best if it could be built on a stronger story in the show but with how impatient and restless we usually get when it comes to new episodes, that's nothing more than a recipe for disaster. It could work and lead to a more dramatic story but not for something like this when the writers don't have that mindset at the moment.

Then shunning the underrated parts of the brony fandom would make the rest of us bronies and pegasisters no better than those that we turn our noses at. The lesser known/liked parts of the fandom should be appreciated for what they are and we should always give them a chance to shine in the spotlight and we can tolerate them even if they don't grab our attention. I did that with AlexLoneWolf and later on loved his fanfiction story "A New Hero" since it puts on a different spin on the show if there was a seventh character with the Mane 6 while everyone else nags that he's just a "Gary-Stu" when in reality, beneath the text of the story, there's more to it if read multiple times and looked on hard enough.

Jan animations shut down by hasbro/C&D
TwilightDreamer replied to M'aiq the Liar's topic in Sugarcube Corner
While I understand that it would mean the loss of the rights to MLP for Hasbro, I have to ask, are they really doing justice or are they just trying to alienate us and destroy the fandom without even realizing it? I enjoyed Button Mash and it's one of the best MLP fanworks ever to come out of the fandom, there's nothing wrong with it besides copyright infringement. This is one of the things that makes me question Hasbro when it comes to these CnD's, are they really doing what they think is right or are they just making things with them and the MLP fandom go from bad to worse? This is why I would just question whether or not Hasbro is staying true to the fandom.- 622 replies

I would agree with you even though my views on Chrysalis were mixed and not one-sided (mostly with her being a recurring villnainess but destroyed later on upon her greatest sin). While I do want to see Chrysalis redeemed, there are usually some points where I wouldn't see her gaining some sort of redemption due to the sins she committed being undeniably heavy ones. There are always some points where you cross the line and just stick to doing that for one's own wants and desires and in the case of Chrysalis, there's just a point when she's not one who's on the list for redemption and forgiveness.

sad A Canterlot Wedding-The Alternate Ending
TwilightDreamer replied to Wardaddy's topic in Written Fan Works
Now that the drama between Twilight, her friends, Shining Armor and Celestia's now over, I guess it's time for them to get to the Changeling Hive and retrieve Cadence. That and this chapter probably earned our forgiveness for their actions, we can't be mad at the Infamous Seven any longer since that's all in the past now with the loss of Chrysalis and the Changelings. The only question I now have in mind now that the Infamous Seven and Twilight have forgiven each other for their actions after being strung along by Chrysalis is...............How are the rest of the Changelings (if there are any left alive after Twilight's magic overload) going to react if they found out that their queen's officially dead and is Cadence going to forgive her aunt, her husband and her favorite filly's friends once she's rescued? -
