Well I hadn't intended for live action movies to be included but since people are mentioning them. My favorites are probably the Tron movies.

Well the problem with earth ponies as far as the show goes is there isn't much you can do to make them standout compared to pegasi and unicorns. We've never really seen what the earth ponies brand of magic can do. Faust referred to it as a more subtle form of magic and for most people subtle is boring.

I don't mind the decision to have minimum post length as annoying as it can be, but there is something that concerns me. And that is when anyone challenges this oh so wonderful decision they seems to be more often than not attacked even when they provide examples where it doesn't really work. I haven't been on this board long but it seems like descenting opinions (particularly when it comes to the mods decisions) are hunted down and shot.

Wow, that was fast, and fair enough. I guess I really don't have much else to say regarding this matter.

Well the show is kinda the whole reason the fanbase exists in the first place. New episodes mean new discussions, inspiration for art, PMVs, music and animation. The only reason the fanbase stays strong in the summer is because of summer break, people now have more time to work on their projects. You can only go so long on fan created work inspired by existing content before people get burned out and need new material to keep the fandom going.

Not only were they being bad friends but they screwed over Mr. and Mrs. Cake as well. What if they needed the prize money? Now that have to split it 4 ways. They have two foals now after all. There are so many things about this episode that bothered me, from the out character behavior of everyone save for Pinkie, Twilght and (if you don't count the deleted scene) Applejack, to the cheap everyone wins resolution.

How do you think the show would be if it was "derpyless"?

At the beginning the of this year I began a journey, to watch all 51 Disney animated full length feature films in order. I have just finished the last one. Now I ask you, what are your favorite animated Disney movies? My personal favorites The Lion King: I don't think I really have to explain why. Bolt: This is a personal favorite of mine, and I think it is a criminally underrated movie. This is one of the few Disney films that can make me cry everytime I see it and I am not ashamed to admit that.

M.A Larson, he has a great handle on the universe. Used to be Amy Keating Rogers until she managed to completely screw the characters personalities up all for the sake of funny in MMMMMMystery on the Friendship Express. At least all Williams did was exaggerate their personalites instead of outright contradict them.

I've heard some wacky things went down at Everfree Northwest. Assault Molestation jokes around the younger VAs Conventions conspiring against and stealing from each other Open transphobia Can any of these incidences by confirmed? So far Michelle Creber has denied that the second one happened. Several of the claims seem to come from PurpleTinker, Bronycon's organizer whom I heard several negative things about (none of which had to do with being transgender). Can somebody clear the air on all this?

Fires, Earthquakes, Tornadoes, and the like.
brian577 replied to DashingRainbow36's topic in General Discussion
6 years ago a large grass fire nearly hit my hometown in Nebraska. This is how close it came to town The large building is the local college highrise dorms. The evacation line came up to my street. I stayed up till about 5 in the morning before going to bed after the fire was successfully routed around the town. Needless to say I was seriously freaked out, and I get nervous every time there is a fire in the area.- 48 replies

It's so much that we police the fandom as much as we make it very clear that clopping is not what being a brony is about and we keep such tings restricted to certain sites and a large bulk of the community doesn't approve of clopping anyways. A clean public image has allowed us to get alot of positive press, when was the last time you've seen a news article that actually championed the furry fandom? Look at this article, it goes out of its way to make it clear that the majority bronies are not about pony sex. http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/features/forget-controversy-why-my-little-pony-and-brony-fever-should-be-celebrated-ahump.php A good public image makes it easier for new people to jump right in with little reservations.

It seems like we marginalize cloppers and try to keep them out of our public image which is a good thing. Furries failed police to their fandom and now their hurting for it.

Favorite: Rainbow Dash she's funny, she's brave and she's tough and she possesses a sensitive side. Last Favorite: Applejack She's OK, but really, she could be replaced by anypony and fill the same role. She has no unique abilities to make her stand her out. What makes her worthy of being the Element of Honesty over anyother pony. Twilight has superior magical skill, Rarity has an eye of aesthetics, Fluttershy has the stare, Dash has the Sonic Rainboom, Pinkie Pie is, well, Pinkie Pie and AJ is just AJ

I've noticed that alot of furries have an intense dislike for bronies, why? I've heard the usual answer that we're everywhere and therefore annoying. But I've also heard some say the very same things that you would hear from an outsider, that we are weird, creepy etc. But isn't that hypocritcal? Furries have to deal with the same kinda things we do, yet they hate us? My personal theory (no offense to anyone who is a furry on the board) is that they are jealous of our popularity. Think about it, we can't go a week without an article about bronies and 9 times out of 10 it's positive. When is the last time you've seen a furry article at all or had a celebrity endorse the furry fandom? We're considered by many as something to be championed and furries are still considered freaks. In a way it's really unfair and I can see why they would be upset. Again this is just my personal opinion and I understand that many bronies are furries. I've just noticed this intense dislike for us from the fandom and am curious if anyone else has any theories. Especially some insight from an actual furry.

Your Favorite Pony Pet/Assistant!

But Pegasi do have magic and we've seen them use it more than the Earth Ponies. They walk on clouds and their wings are way too small to lift them off the ground without some kind of outside force. Faust did state that the ponies mature mentally faster than humans but she never said anything about their life spans. Based on the fact that Granny Smith was around at the founding of Ponyville which had to have been a least a hundred years prior to the start of the series, I'm going to say they age at the same rate as humans, perhaps living longer due to their near utopian society.
