The vibrant contrast of red and white stripes with a maple leaf in the middle. Simple, and yet appealing. But a flag that really gets my attention is the flag of Nepal. Firstly, note the shape of the flag. It's not a rectangle! They actually have documentation in their constitution as to how to make one of these flags by really detailed ratios.
