Your favourite country?

Sweet Dreams

I've only been to 'Merica, Mexico, and Japan. I went to Mexico when I was very young and hardly remember it. Japan was very clean and I enjoyed it a lot, but I don't know if I'd call it a "favourite" country.

The States, sure we may be idiotic alot. But were still a great country!

Japan has a close second place. How could I forget the home of Nintendo and Anime?

Canada by far, it is so beautiful (Especially where I live in British Columbia) Mountains galore! I honestly wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

I would like to visit others though. :)

'Merica. It's always been home for me. Can't beat that.

Although I appreciate France quite a bit. Perhaps it's due to my family history there, perhaps for the culture. Not really sure.

My favorite countries are tied between italy and Australia, for different reasons. Italy because it's part of my heritage, plus I visited once, and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, especially the countryside. Australia because it has a lot of bush flying prospects if I wish to pursue that type of flying career, plus I just love Australian culture. :P

Finland, easily. I have family over there so it kinda makes more sense for me to like it. But for everything else, you've really got to go there to see the elements at work.

I would kinda like to go to America because it's sunny in some places there or Australia because I wanna see kangaroos. I also wanna go to Canada because I like mooses. So basically, mah favorite foreign country would be Canada and I like Wales because I live there

Well that was an easy question: Sweden, of course!

Beside Sweden, I really like the UK (because Dubstep, Garage and DnB is from the UK :P) and Japan

I do believe the best place to live would be good ol' America, but it's not really the prettiest country I've ever been to. I really like the rustic charm of Europe, and the fact that it has been home to many ancient cultures for centuries. Of course I have to note the often unstable governments both currently and throughout history, but overall I do enjoy Europe very much.

If I were to choose one country, it would be Germany. My family is German and I think it is a beautiful country. I'm not sure if I would live there but it is a magnificent place to visit! laugh.png

Well, of course it would be my homeland, but I think almost anyone would say the same so I'll choose something different:

1) Poland, I know that there a lot of people think that we dislikes each other, but I like that country, and I've met there a lot of people who likes mine. I like Polish, food, language, history, people :)

2) Spain, idk why, but I want to go there some day and find out :)

3) Serbia, most of times I juge countries by it's people, and I know plenty of serbians and all of them great guys, and I really like their basketball team.

There plenty of countries I respect but have no time to write about all of them.

Well, I never thought I'd say this but I guess if I'm honest with myself, it would have to be the USA.

I used to hate living there: hated the gun laws, hated that we don't have free health care like "everyone else". So when I had the opportunity to study abroad, I was so excited. I was so sure that Europe would be so much better than the US that I was counting on not coming back home after the semester was over! But...big surprise, I learned that the grass really isn't greener on the other side after all. (Unless you live in Ireland, in which case it literally is, but you know what I mean, haha.) I took the chance to travel all around Europe during my time abroad, and though I loved different things about every place I visited, I slowly began to see that every country has their own problems after all - I had just been too stubborn to believe it. Yes, my home country can be a really messed up place - but so is everywhere else. And I've learned to see the good in it now. :)

I'm looking forward to returning home this week after a semester abroad, and I'll never take my country for granted again.

...Especially not Arby's curly fries. Holy crap, I've missed Arby's curly fries. happy.png

Very simple for me, The United States of America. I don't care what people say, at the moment it's the most interesting country. It has it's beautiful parts, iconic cities and it's a country that loves cars. What more can I ask for, I'm so going to move there one day.. But the problem is I'm really patriotic, so maybe not.. But still 'MURICA!

Then it's Germany, it is one of the greatest country ever and each time I've been there I love it. The people are very friendly and oh my god all those German cars.. THANK YOU GERMANY!! The autobahn is the greatest road I have ever experienced. Germans know how to get things done, I just love them. I really want to go there in the future and just drive as fast as I can on whatever car it will be.. BMW M6, Lamborghini Aventador.. I don't care, I just want to drive on the autobahn. Then the Nürburgring, Germany is heaven on earth for people that love cars. Germany and The United States of America are perfectly tied, they are both the most amazing countries ever! (In my opinion at least).

But of course, my own country Iceland is of course one of my favorite, the roads suck though.. But it has beautiful scenery. It's skyrim in real life, but it's nothing like Germany. Germany is so beautiful, I just love the roads, they are the most beautiful roads I have ever seen. So straight, so smooth.. So German. But still, I love my country. Hopefully it will become more like Germany and start making more high quality roads.

I learned the German language simply because how much I love Germany.

If you don't think this is beautiful, then I don't know what beauty is. I can just imagine, just downshift.. Then off I go!

I always wanted a M6 back when I was a kid, I'm so getting one when I can afford one. It's just yelling at me: "own me". Germany makes such beautful cars, I will buy an M6 before I'll buy a Lamborghini.

I would say, France because, I'm told that I have a French heritage. Still, Germany and the USA for the win!

I like Canada because I hear it's very peaceful over there. And Australia is apparently the 3rd happiest country, and like all other major countries except for the US, they have universe healthcare so that's awesome. Oh and who could forget Japan? Lots of cool shit comes from japan.

Does Equestria count?

Seriously, things here in the US aren't too bad.  It's not perfect, but I really can't complain.  If there was any one country that I would like to visit the most, though, that would have to be Japan.

I'll just skip past my home country of America, seeing as how it's the only one I've been in. (Never left the country, and I HATE that.)

I really want to visit both Ireland and England, as they are my family's heritage. Specifically the Cornwall area of England.

Oh my God... A Country thread NOT full of people talking about how they hate America?!!

I... I think I need to lay down. I didn't know this was possible...

Anyway, America. I live (well, lived until recently) in a very beautiful part of the country. On the side of a mountain in southwestern WA, to be precise. Great weather, great scenery, pretty nicely balanced political atmosphere, stuff to do, and ~45 minutes from Portland, which is nice.

Following up America, Japan. I've only spent a few weeks there, but I'd love to go back longer.

Also, I've always wanted to visit Norway. My heritage is pretty much all of Scandenavia, some Irish and English, and a few other little places here and there. My mom lived in Norway for a few years and absolutely loves it (which is ironic, seeing as her side of the family has no Norwegian; all of mine comes from my Dad), so I think I'd enjoy Norway.

I honestly have no clue whatsoever. I guess from what I know, I'd choose the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Wait, that doesn't exist anymore? You've just made a powerful enemy, Outdated Globe.
