Have you ever been pulled over by a cop!?

I haven't, but I also can't legally drive so... :P

Though considering when I did, I'd probably not get pulled over for speeding or drunk driving assuredly, because I always drove really slow when I drove and I find alcohol disgusting and the effects of it definitely NOT for me. :bea:

I don't own a car so nope.

But my dad told me about a time he was pulled over at a check point years back. They were doing random checks and well, my dad was on his way home from the pub and much to his shame was over the limit. But he managed to get out of any form of checks by simply rolling down the window and asking for directions before the police officer could speak. The police officer gave him directions and waved him on, completely forgetting they had just pulled him over.

Yes. I was brand new to driving and I was overdue for an inspection of my car. The cop was really cool about it, and even though he wrote me a ticket he told me if I get the inspection and then fight the ticket it would probably be voided. He was right.

And that’s the bottom line, ‘cause Stone Cold said so!

Myself? No. My aunt has gotten a few speeding tickets, though.

I have been "pulled over" at the parking lot of a military facility. Basically, I was parked. And I was not allowed there, but they did take my id and checked it against some database to make sure I wasn't a "bad guy".

Several times.  Only one has ever resulted in a ticket.  Cops in my town have been very nice in my experience.

The most notable time was when I was a teen.  I was going 80 mph in a 40 mph zone.

I pulled over before the cop even turned around and turned his lights on cause I knew I was had.  He told me he appreciated that.

My license was suspended for two weeks and I had to go take a class.

I haven't been pulled over before (because I'm too young to drive), but my parents have because they were fighting in the car and someone who heard the fighting outside called the cops. Me and my brother and sisters were also in the car and had to witness the whole thing.

My dad has been, for driving on the wrong side of the road in Budapest during a trip when I was a child. :please:

We were stuck in the city trying to get past it for over an hour and he started threatening to burn the car down at one point. It was pretty tragic, I had to approach two policemen to ask them in English if they can show us the way out cos we're lost...

They did, thankfully. Hungary is known for its hardass law enforcement normally, at least at the border.

Nah, I've never been pulled over before. Would be cool if it stays that way. :trollestia:

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Twice, both times at night. Once I made a small mistake when driving though an empty and dark intersection, so I had to blow to the breathalyzer (got zero). The other time cops were bored, saw my car that's not common anymore and wanted to chat. This time they did not check if I was drunk.

Exactly once, and it was only for him to tell me one of my backlights went out. Thankfully I didn't get a ticket but I damn near got a heart attack

Sure, plenty of times.

I only ever got a ticket once, usually they've all been warnings.

The time I got a ticket I thoroughly deserved it, I knew I did at the time and I especially know it now.

Getting that ticket was the best thing for me.

I'm just glad that's all it took to give me a clue, so I could change my driving style.

Never, thankfully. I think the closest I ever got was doing 90 in 65 directly in front of a state trooper on those u turn things the big highways have. But he didn’t do anything, there was a lot of traffic so that probably helped me.

I got stopped two times from the police because of a traffic/identity check, but in both cases, there was nothing to blame and so, I got no ticket. The only tickets I ever got was from driving to fast, but there was no police men who gave it to me, I got it with the mail.

Thankfully, not yet! I should've the time I accidentally ran a red light, but thankfully I got super lucky and I didn't collide with anyone when that happened!
