List of "You know, for kids!" Moments - Brainstorming

I need a list of every "You know, for kids!" moment that you guys can think of. If you don't know what I mean- it's a moment that is rather intense, edgy, or just unfitting for a "kids" show. Such as Sombra enslaving Crystal ponies.

That giant worm creature from 'Three's A Crowd' is one of the first things that come to mind.

From MLP? Umm...

I would say Rescue at Midnight Castle, but since that's G1, it doesn't count. From FiM... Lesson Zero

The entire Twilight freaking out sequence. That is definitively the most disturbing thing I've seen in the show.

The Cutie Map is close second with its...

... brainwashing and dark theme.

I watched a youtube video explaining that in The Cutie Pox, three ponies in the bowling alley resembled criminals, including a child sex offender.

One that really got me was the first time we see Tirek sucking out a pony's magic.

I mean seriously; an adorable, unsuspecting unicorn is confronted alone in a dark alley at night by a sinister cloaked figure, who who then basically mugs said unicorn for his magic/essence, while the unicorn's eyes gloss over and his cutie mark fades away.

You know... FOR KIDS!!  :dash:

I think the "You know, for kids!" meme is stupid. It's such a desperate attempt trying to justify the content of MLP.

Just think about Lion King which is for all ages. Death, deceit and evil are themes, yet they are presented in a good way.
Another example people reference this meme is the "violence". Think about Tom & Jerry, a comedy purely about human like animals getting hurt.

Kids aren't fragile beings that easily breaks, they can handle complex emotions and thoughts earlier than you think, they are mostly just bad a communicating it.

The only thing that deserves "You know, for kids!", are references to old movies, and themes that are too complex for kids to grasp. I couldn't find any good examples of the latter in MLP.

I couldn't find a clip including the part where he says: "Kill him" to the hyenas. That just adds that extra little flavor of evil.
