Hi everypony ! So recently I've noticed that I'm not the kind of person that opens up about his feelings, even to my closer friends

I basically hide them ! I personally keep all of my feelings, problems and insecurities inside of me till It becomes too much to handle and really hurts me...

So my question is, are you guys open about your feelings/problems to your surroundings?

Tell us all !

Brohoof :D /)

[PS: Not seeking any advices or anything !]

I hide it all. I think it's better if I just keep it all in as no one really seems to care how I feel and that's fine.

I have tried in the past expressing who I was and how I felt, but those days are behind me now.

Best if I just oppress the real me. Lie and say I'm happy, But hey that's just me. :P

I usually keep them for myself. I may tell people who approach me in private a bit about myself, but otherwise, there is a lot I keep for myself.

This depends on my mood, if my mood is very distraught, I usually have to tell someone that I trust, talking about issues can be a life saver. Other times, I do not want to burden others with my problems, so I stay quiet.

Definitely inside. Every time I open up about my problems, people usually ignore me or change the subject so there's no point. Plus, I don't feel comfortable around anyone let alone when telling my feelings. The only person I've been open to was my girlfriend (now ex) and we're not in contact anymore, so...

I usually don't comment on how I feel unless the conversation I'm currently in warrants it. I usually display most of my emotions through body languages and facial expressions anyway. Words are just the hot sauce on top.

I'm not very open to anyone though within this community i am a lot more open about everything. I feel sorry for my friends sometimes it all gets kept in and then they misstep, everything i suppress releases at once it once got to the point where me and a friend have come to blows and they only knew the reason a year later... still friends, guess i'm damn lucky.  :squee:

I prefer to help people rather then be helped, i think I've developed a "anything emotional i can deal with on my own" attitude.

If I'm talking with family or close friends, I am open about any problems that trouble me - problems that can be solved with discussion and help, of course. If it's something like a first world problem, like "Oh noes, I got a detail of the next episode spoiled to me!", then there's no reason to waste anyone's time, including mine. :P

If I'm talking with friends then I give a heads-up and apology in case I seem moody - though that's only if the problem caused any significant issue.

Inside, I talk way too much, but most of it is just superficial stuff. The way I've always seen it is that everyone else has their own problems, so they don't need to know about mine. I didn't have it particularly easy as a kid, so I just kind of got used to working on the principal that if there is no immediate danger to myself or someone I care about at this particular moment, then this moment is a good moment

I'm usually very open about it. I'm pretty extroverted. If I don't open up to someone irl I'll do it to someone online as I'll feel less nervous because they won't really understand so it's an easy way to get it off my chest

Well, being both introverted and having strong "loner" traits it's no suprise that I process everything inside. Even if was just easier to run it through with someone else. Attempts at bucking this mode of thinking results in huge spikes of stress, so I'm stuck being a stranger to everyone I know for the forseeble future. It would be so much easier if I could open up to people just one bit, but you can't always get what you want...

I keep most of my feelings to inside. I don't have any friends IRL, so if I feel something I might talk about it to my parents, but not really.. I keep my feelings inside, I guess.

Not even most of my online friends know of my feelings, unless I really feel comfortable talking about it. I don't want my (online) friends to change how they act around me if I were to tell them something.

So yeah, inside.
