I do, but only if it's clean and there's nothing else to drink. My family and I lived in a house for a bit that had bad tap water so we had to drink from a water dispenser thing.

I've always been fine with drinking tap water. If I buy bottled water, it's for convenience away from home more than anything.

A few years ago, a wide range of administrative failures caused the county water supply to be contaminated with algae.

The stink was bad and the taste was worse.

Living in a place with clean tap water, yes. It does taste bit less good in cities since instead of being groundwater, it's cleaned up water, so you can taste the thing used to clean it, but it's still drinkable and I do drink it if there's nothing else to drink (or it's night).

Yeah we drink it. Very mineral heavy. Leave it sit for long-enough and you'll get hard water stains. Drinking it for 16 years and no ill effects yet.

Yeah, it is fine around here. Clear enough and has no odd taste to it or whatever. Also, some people mention theirs have mineral stains. Mine doesn't do anything when it sits there for however long.

Where I live the tap water is clean and completely safe to drink. And I drink it directly, I used it to make my tea, my food etc.
