Do you go to church?

Last night at church, we celebrated a 93-year-old woman's birthday after the sermon. The pastor kept calling her "the birthday girl" for some reason (93's a little old to be a girl). I wonder what would've happened if we put 93 candles on her cake:please:

Was dragged there every Wednesday and twice every Sunday for nearly 24 years since my dad was in the ministry, but since the moment they stopped forcing me (right around the time of the divorce) I haven't set foot there again nor will I. Everyone has the right to believe what they wish to, and are absolutely welcome to attend if it helps them with their life, but I personally never got anything out of it other than being miserably bored and honestly upset and offended. To each their own; it just isn't my thing!

Welcome to the neighborhood! I brought you this pie to see if you're weird.

Only go for others' weddings and other miscellaneous religious ceremonies- I don't believe in any of that noise. It's 2018 lmao.

...When I do go, there's usually a flask of Jack at my hip and black metal blaring out of my car speakers when I roll up on the spot.

I tend to take the high road, get stoned, and fly low . . .

Only around Christmas time. I don't really hate church or anything (hell, I'll even say that the church near me is pretty damn nice), but considering I'm not a religious person myself (I'm a deist), church isn't for me.

Used to as a kid. Last time I've been there was like 4-5 years ago.

Never! Used to be once a week back when I was at a catholic school.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I go to church once a week. I don't really consider myself a Christian, but that's the family I was born into and they go every Saturday. (Yes, Adventists) I still follow my family there once a week, but I just don't believe anything they say, really. :please: I'm just there because my family is there.

I don't go to church at all. I guess you can say that I'm not religious but I am completely okay with not being religious at all.

Jedi do not have church in the traditionally thought of sense, but most groups do offer meditation services or lectures etc. Those are things I often attend.

I do; on most Sunday mornings anyway. Churches in this region also typically have Sunday evening and Wednesday evening services, but I don't attend those these days. Due to really only going for my parent's benefit and such; I'm burnt out on those.

Really, Sunday mornings are fine, but...not sure how I feel in a religious sense. I was raised Christian, but I've had internal questions that I have been asking myself for a while. So...a fence-sitter, I guess you could say.

The only times I go into a church is if a friend or family member is having some sort of major life event occur in a church. Last time I set foot in a church was the funeral of a friend's father. Otherwise, being an atheist, I don't go.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh crap I should be going every week but I'm not, so I've got a fuck ton of sins piling up on me for not going :sealed:

My family always goes in spurts, we won't step foot inside the church for months at a time, and then suddenly we're going every single weekend. It's been like that for a long time in my family, and I guess right now we're in the mood of "Nah, we can wait" but probably in a few months we'll be going back in every single Saturday night like we usually do ;)

Roman Catholic here.

I go every Sunday and Holy Day of obligation. I was a lot more lax than I am now, and have had gaps that lasted for months, but after a rather supernatural experience that I had in May, I have yet to miss any obligated day. I also try to go to mass on Fridays now, and as a personal devotion, I went almost every day in June during my lunch break. I'm also trying to go to confession once a month now, as I would go years in between before this year.
