So to put it bluntly... Have you ever stabbed yorself. If so how, was it by accident or on purpose (yes i am aware of those people) and how deep did you do it?

 

I just accidentally stabbed myself in the hand and sweet celestia it hurt the blade went in about an inch not too far but it won't stop bleeding... uh oh.

I've cut/stabbed myself a lot in my life. My favorite story of being stabbed though is one where I didn't even bleed. haha

 

I was in Iraq and having a discussion about whether or not out flak vest could stop a knife attack. They're designed to stop shrapnel flying at high speeds but knives seemed different. My buddy Fryman agreed that it was a good question and then asked to see my knife. I gave it to him thinking he was going to stab himself. And... Then he stabbed me in the shoulder. Vest stopped but I was like "WTF dude!? Why would you stab me?" He said, "Well, I wanted to know if it would work and I wasn't about to test on myself." haha

wow... thats just so horrible that it's funny (does that work?)m anyway nice story. i just happened to be opening a can of apricot nector with a few quick knife stabs but ended up getting my hand instead. in future i'll just use a can opener or avoid drinking from the can in the first place.

I once drove a nail through my left hand when working on my parents house. That Bucking hurt.

 

I almost completely severed my thumb from my left hand once. I was replacing glass on my parents front door when I tripped and stupidly reached my hand out to stop myself. My hand went through the glass and I didn't realize the damage until my father pointed it out.

 

I don't know if this counts but I was attacked in an alley with a kitchen knife and my face was cut and I got stabbed in the lower abdomen.

 

I'm suprised that I still have all my fingers.

Lol when doing my Cert I in Hospitality and Kitchen Operations I cut my finger rather deep... That's about it really, even that was too much for me haha didn't stop bleeding all day haha it would just reopen (had a bandaid and gloves on... Fear not).

 

I stabbed myself in the arm with a pencil in primary school, deep enough to stay in until I pulled it out (was an accident), still have a black lil blackish mark there from the graphite ("led") of the pencil haha

I once was doing things that I probably shouldn't have and enraged this psycho who decided to come at me with a knife. I managed to get the hell out of there but he managed to cut me in a few places and just ow that hurt like hell.

 

I did slice open my thumb when I was playying with a pocket knife but that's not as cool of a story.

Well, this on time I was walking through some alleys with my old friend when he found a big piece of a glass window and had the fucking smart idea to break it with a near-by rock. Me being the retard that I am, I offer to hold the glass while he dropped the rock on it. When he dropped the rock on it, the broken glass had taken almost half of the tip of my ring finger off. I just thought it was a minor cut until the bleeding stopped a bit. It really hurt but it grew back so, it's ok.

Well one day When I was 10 or 11 I was outside eating lunch, my brother has never been very bright, but he decided to throw a small steak knife at the table I was eating at, I hand my right hand flat down against the table and then the knife just found it's way into my ring finger. I can't bend it anymore after a certain angle, and the scar is still there.

Well, I split my head open on a rifle scope this summer. It needed 10 stitches, which you may want to think about getting if you havent already. here is a pretty picture:

Well, I was doing something stupid and trying to cut a zip-tie on something in the car, I slipping the tip under it and jammed the knife right into my palm below my index finger. It was only about a 1/5 of a inch wide but it bled like I had chopped a finger off, it was everywhere running down my arm, I soaked the blanket I put my hand in to get into the house.

The closest thing that I can recall that would count as being stabbed was when I was around 5 years old, I accidentally shot myself with a staple gun into my sternum. Buried itself completely into the bone, but strangely it didn't hurt, nor bleed. (winded me though. It hit me with quite a bit of force)

 

Freaked the heck out of my parents though, seeing a staple embedded an inch deep into my chest. Though I pulled it out right in front of them and nothing happened. Healed up without a scab and no scars. Didn't even get a tetanus shot. Though I probably would have died or at least been hospitalized if it hadn't hit my rib cage.

Oh yes, multiple times. I once got a piece of pencil graphite stuck in my finger because of accidental stabbage.

One time when I was about 8, I was digging a hole in the backyard. While digging, I ran into a tree root, and decided that the best way to get through it would be to swing the shovel like an axe. So I raised it up over my head, but screwed up somehow, and gouged my scalp pretty bad.

I have three stories.

A few Years ago I was helping staple some posters to a wall. My friend handed me the stapler, it has a weird design so I thought I had it facing the right way and slammed my hand against it. It didn't staple the the poster to the wall so I hit it again. So I stapled my hand twice...and didn't even notice it. Which is kind of embarrassing

 

The second story is when I was opening a package with a knife and sliced my finger open.

 

The third (and my personal favorite) is when I was running my hand over the blade of a sword I own. I cut my finger rather deep.

I can't say I've willingly cut myself. However, I did get two parallel cuts on my back once (wasn't from a knife obviously), and I basically had to change my shirt and couldn't lie on my back without anesthetics. Good times, good times. Also if you are counting dreams, then I've had a knife run through my neck and my eye gouged, among other things. Good times, good times.

I have to say everypony this the most fail-win i have seen in a long time. just an update. i am now extending this to more than just stab wounds. i'd like to hear other stories such as the time i fell off a 3 story building and didn't get up for around a couple hours. Ok then, I tried riding my Susuki 110 up a 65 degree incline, had the engine stall, and the whole bike fliped up on its back wheel and landed on top of me. I burned my arm up and scratched my leg pretty bad.

 

Thats about it for me, I dont really live on the edge. Ive hurt myself 1000 and a half times working on my various DIY projects, but nothing to brag about. Sliced all my fingers open on a jet turbine, burned my fingers in electrical solder, lit my arm on fire while trying to light butane, got smacked in the chest by flying pvc after a chemical explosion (that one winded me), got hit by a flying potato soon after the flying pvc incident, almost lost my middle finger to a moving blade, all fun stuff.

 

I build to many weird things.
