Episodes you love but everyone else seems to hate.

Looking through this thread - nearly all of them, apparently? XD There aren't any episodes that I hate or even dislike, really - of course there are some I like better than others, and some could have been better written or handled things differently etc, but I can usually find something to enjoy about even those ones.

 

But Putting Your Hoof Down is a big one, I guess - it's not my favourite and I understand why fellow Flutterfans don't like it,

I was a Flutterfan when I watched it, and I enjoyed it. Then again, the only episode I legitimately hate is Baby Cakes.

One Bad Apple and Putting Your Hoof Down. One Bad Apple had some funny moments, and Putting Your Hoof down showed that not everyone is nice in Equestria. There are problems in Equestria too, and it's not just sunshine and rainbows all the time.

It really depends. What episodes out there are ones that most people hate? I've seen some Mysterious Mr. Enter videos and I know the ones he hates. So I'll go ahead and say that even though it was very much overkill, I enjoyed Putting Your Hoof Down. I guess that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

It'll have to be Daring Don't, It's About Time and The Mysterious Mare Do Well. They all had their flaws, but I still enjoyed them regardless.

 

Oh yes, and I'm also a fan of Feeling Pinkie Keen, despite the broken moral.

For me, it's Daring Don't and The Crystal Empire.

 

On Daring Don't people seem really bothered by Daring Don't actually being a real character in Equestria. Personally, I LOVED it, and I really love how they have her books essentially being her real adventures. I loved a lot of the other quirky parts of the episode too.

 

As for Crystal Empire, you all know my affinity for Sombra, and for me he really makes the episode work. Easily my favorite of the entire series.

Oh yeah, Crystal Empire is also on that list. Sometimes, these critics reactions come out of nowhere. One minute an episode will be well liked, the next minute BAM! Every critic is bashing it. It's usually due to one critic bashing an otherwise liked episode, then the fans of that one blindly listen to them and go spew it out elsewhere. Want some examples? I didn't see any hate for A Canterlot Wedding until Anton C made a negative review on it and I didn't see any hate for Bridle Gossip until Voice of Reason made a review on it.
