Do you have a good luck charm? Do want a good luck charm?

This device and I have gone through thick and thin. On numerous occasions it has saved me from certain doom, and good fortune always seems to roll my way whenever I have it in my pocket.

It has also gone through the wash so many times and it still miraculously works.

I am my own good-luck charm, I ooze good luck!

But really, I have a paper I carry in memory of my late Grandmother in my wallet, I guess I feel like she watches me when I have it with me, so that could be like a good luck charm I suppose.

I had one of those ear-flap hats with the long dangly threads that my sister got me when she went away to college. It has the name of her university on it, and the first cross-country meet I wore it too I ran exceptionally well. Now it is my ultimate lucky charm; worn on every ride to a meet. People thought it was weird when I wore it in 90+ degree weather.

Then this past week, someone stole it. :(

Well the closest thing I have to a luck charm would probably be this T shirt I've had for I dunno how long. It's practically see through now and I'm a bit worried it's gonna disintegrate in the wash one of these days lol.

I would like a little charm though, if I could choose one I'd like something like this:

Not even necessarily for luck, but to remind me of the kind of person I wanna be.

Some people have driving gloves. I have a driving fedora.

I almost never wear it except while driving, and when driving I almost always have it on. To this day, I've never had an accident while wearing it. (I've never had an accident to begin with, but thinking about that kind of ruins the magic.)

Not really one for good luck charms

I make my own luck lol.

But something i really treasure?

well.......

this is a piece of coal recovered from the wreck of the titanic in 1994.

It may be a stupid rock to some but to a die hard fan of the ship like me its worth its weight in gold.

Its one of my prized posessions and i keep mine under lock and key.

Instant good luck charm!!!

It might be weird or deep to say this, but I still have my mother's ashes in a jar I keep at the top shelf in my room. I mean, I don't bring it anywhere, but I believe that the jar is just my personal favorite good luck charm, even if I don't believe in spirits or ghosts. I just find it comforting.

So much this

My entire files and collections! Various memorabilia, pictures and videos, even games and the goddamn porn! Without them I would be as good as naked outside my house

Surprisingly, my good luck charm is either my Ebook or my Pokewalker. I was pretty lucky with the Ebook but when I started re-carrying the Pokewalker great things all happen within an hour of each other....undecided to i'll use both! ^_^

Tons of things I have are considered lucky in my opinion. My leather jacket, Silver Hammer and Sickle dog tag necklace.

Two luckiest objects have to be My father's lighter from 1959 with inscription by former leader of Bolshevik party is my favorite along with my Buckskin knife made from melted down plates that my Grandpa got in World War Two from a Nazi Officers house.

I have multiple charms. My deceased grandmother's amethyst ear ring has given me luck. I say so because the day after I obtained it, I became a brony. I also have a quarter from 1954, the year that one of the greatest movies ever was released: Godzilla. I placed both items in a small sack that I think of as a bless bag.

I've got a picture of my family in the left arm pocket of my BDU jacket, whenever I take it out, something good seems to happen. That, and I feel better, seeing my family back in better times....

I've got a few pictures my friend drew me. One of them, Derpy Hooves. I have them in the right breast pocket of my jacket. I promised her I would keep them 'close to my heart'. And I have. And I always will.

A good luck charm, eh?... Don't really have one of those. I always carry my ever-handy screwdriver on me and it has been invaluable in many situations, but I really don't consider it lucky.

I don't really have that many lucky charms, Though I do have a lucky Taco-Bell shirt because I simply walked in and the cashier said happy customer appreciation day, you get a free shirt. I consider that lucky, since I don't really go out to eat, and I got a free shirt.

Proof (of sorts) for all those who don't believe in a lucky charm that they can, in fact, affect your day.

So my lucky racing hat was returned to me today. The events of the day that followed:

1) Felt extremely confident for the PSATs, and I answered every question with gusto.

2) Ran a new personal best for the 5,000 meter race - 17:52.

3) The people who stole my hat felt bad, so they gave me a dandelion (or whatever the poofy weed is called) to make a wish. I wished for good reviews on all of my writing. I then got an email from a brony from a different site who gave me a rather large email about how he loved the imagery, believable characters, etc. As a result, I now have an editor.

4) While stopping for food on the way home, I found a Rainbow Dash toy in the K-Mart. I FINALLY have some pony merch to call my own!

So all-in-all, lucky charms can work.

This is my necklace that I wear everyday. It reminds me of the Princess of the Sun and whenever I wear it I seem to be the most lucky person alive.

wearing it I have found money countless times, gotten my job baking which I couldn't live without, opened so many rare MTG cards, had life threatening accidents only to come out unscathed.

In all honesty this necklace and I have been through everything and I cannot imagine life without it..

My friends think it is the weirdest thing, but I have a certian purple mechanical pencil that has a green pipe cleaner wrapped around it that I only use for tests. I have used it for every test since this past April, and I have yet to make less than a 90 on any test. Hopefully this good luck can stay with me for the rest of high school :)
