I was touring a prison one time and I blurted out something rather inappropriate.

I still have a little bit of a bump left from when I walked into a glass door at the Apple Store.

I was afraid of the vacuum cleaner when I was a little kid and it was my mother's favorite form of punishment(my father was against this.)

I'm a Kingdom Hearts fan even though I've never played any of the games before(I don't own a single game system, just a 3 year-old DS Lite)

People used to think I was adopted because I live with my father and I look nothing like him.

Usually when people meet me in real-life, they can't pronounce my first name correctly the first time. There was even one time when they pronounced my last name the wrong way.

I have absolutely zero idea how to tie my shoes.

Oh, the shame.

And I've always wore slip-ons/velcro/whatever else, so I've had the chance to even observe the complex strings. The only thing I've got to go on his Spongebob's, ''You make a loopty loop and pull, and your shoes are looking cool.''

I like nearly everything I eat. Seriously, you would be hard-pressed to find some kind of food that I don't like... with the exception of eggs. They're revolting.

As a kid I had my dad enter me in a TV sweepstake to win some Star Wars toys. I won $500 worth of stuff.

When daydreaming I often find myself drifting through space, or on a gently rocking boat in the middle of the ocean under a starry night sky.

Talking to people on the phone weirds me out. I've learned to rely heavily on visual cues to know what people are really thinking and where to steer the conversation. You don't have that luxury on the phone and it makes me uncomfortable.

I drink coffee straight.

Despite many bumps, falls, fights, and everything else boys go through growing up and afterwards, I've never broken a bone.

My teeth look normal to most casual observers but are actually in pretty bad shape.

My voice was much deeper as a teenager than it is now because I've lost about 60 pounds since then.

Everyone at school knew me as a murderously angry dude who never let his guard down and could take out any number of guys. They were right, but I found little fulfillment in it beyond simply getting people to stop tormenting me, and I cried myself to sleep almost every night.

Although my parents never got divorced, their marriage was a catastrophe when I was little. Seeing their failed attempt at it and having witnessed the destruction and end of many other marriages, in addition to being treated terribly by people of all ages and both genders, I vehemently hated the idea of ever getting married or having children. The very thought disgusted me. Now that my life has turned around entirely and I'm a new man, I find myself frequently entertaining the thought of one day getting married and having children. It's quite possible there's nothing I now want more than to be a father but I've never told anybody.

For a time I considered changing my name to distance myself from my family's terrible legacy, but I ultimately decided to keep my name as a reminder of everything that I had chosen not to be, hoping it would inspire me never to take up those things.

I don't know what EDM is, so your point is quite valid.

Look up The Crystal Method on Youtube. I recommend "Smile" as a good first song.

I never had any 'sexual' misadventures though since I hated all guys.

Why did you hate guys?

I was weird kid, I'm not surprised they exiled me.

Same here. It all started at the age of four in Kindergarten when my teacher said something to me in the typical high-pitched, over-enthused tone people use with children and I told her not to speak to me as if I was a dog.

I live at home - with my mother. I don't particularly mind that folks consider this to be a sign of failure in life, but it does annoy me a little.

I move my hands a lot while I talk - this leads to problems when I mistakenly come into contact with someone while gesticulating.

Leaving home requires money. Acquiring money requires some form of employment, either freelance or contractual. Both forms are scarce where I am and I therefore have little money, and am stuck at home with my parents. When you're in a bad situation due to circumstances beyond your control, you haven't failed at anything. People also need to get over this idea that failure is entirely bad. My parents and others older than me tried to tell me about a lot of things as I grew up as precautions against making the same mistakes they did, but nothing taught me better than stumbling through things for myself.

You can gesticulate around me all you want. I can be a chronic gesticulator myself.

I'm not proud of everything I've done in my life but I am proud of who I am and will happily tell stories of how I screwed up or of super embarrassing things.

The more I write dialogue for Rarity in fanfictions, the more I like her.

Flipside of that one, I hate writing dialogue for Rainbow Dash because she's not distinguishable by speech alone like the others are. (But I still like Dash. She's fun.)

I'm not very athletic but I love playing sports. I may suck but I have fun.

After years of being a solid gamer I believe I'm finally growing out of it.

This post is going to make me a squirrel. I haven't even posted it yet and I already miss being a butterfly.

My favorite characters from MLP are AJ and 'Shy. 'Shy is who I was as a kid and someone I retreat into when I feel overwhelmed. Applejack is the person I've become. A much stronger and independent person who doesn't deny challenges.

I miss the Army. So much.

Someone once told me, "Some people's only purpose in life is to take a bullet for someone else." I kinda think that's my purpose. Both in a literal and metaphorical way.

Even after all the things of done, the thought of going back to school scares me the most.

I don't speak any foreign language fluently but I can listen to people havig a conversation in a foreign language and generally understand what they're talking about. (Did that once in Iraq and my interpreter thought I knew Arabic a lot better than I really do.)

This one is immediately obvious to anyone who's used verbal communication with me, but unknown on a forum like this:

I actually have a speech impediment: I can't make the English R sound. Not well, anyway. Just imagine the R sound that Homestar Runner makes, except inserted into an otherwise perfectly competent voice.

Also, I almost constantly have some kind of song stuck in my head. I like to think of it as having a soundtrack to my life, except for the (countless) times when the song doesn't fit the situation at all. I don't know if I have an above-average audio imagination or anything, but if I've listened to a song a few times it's really easy for me to include all the small details of backup instruments in my personal soundtrack.

I was in one of the top competitive Halo PC clans during HPC's heyday. I still fancy myself a decent Halo PC player, though I never play it anymore.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my favorite video game of all time.

I can't dance. I can, however, skank. \m/

I've been in a stable relationship for over eight years, and we're still not married yet. She's pretty pissed about it.

I've played guitar and bass for roughly 11 years, beginning at age 15. Because of my skill level, people assume I've been playing for much less, but the reality is that I just don't practice as much as most enthusiasts do. This can be applied even more so to singing, which I've done for about five years but practice even less than guitar.

My favorite band used to be Bad Religion. It's now Haste The Day.

The lead singer of Haste The Day is also a friend of mine. I should probably text him sometime, see how he's doing.

I've been NO'd by the OverClocked ReMix judges panel exactly four times as of this post, making my success/failure ratio 1:2.

I have an affinity for the "holy knight" and "magical knight" archetypes in RPGs.

About 10 years ago, I 100%'d Spyro the Dragon, including Gnasty's Loot.

This is really hard for me to think of anything. I'm a pretty open book. Let's see, something that no one knows about me...

This is going to be pretty weak sauce. All the fun facts I can think of about myself are things at least a few people already know.

My favourite 5th generation Pokémon is Galvantula. Speaking of which, I always try to include the properly accented 'e' whenever I type "Pokémon", despite the amount of extra keystrokes it involves.

It bugs me when people describe Derpy as 'cross-eyed' because that's not the correct term; at least for how she looks most of the time. If you're cross-eyed, the directions your eyes look will cross each other. Derpy is the opposite of that, her eyes look in totally separate directions with no crossover, which makes her wall-eyed.

I think Mega Man X has probably the best video game soundtrack of all time. I also think it's easily one of the best video games ever made, but people do know that about me.

In addition to loving songs from musicals, I also love theme songs. I stopped watching Pokémon during the Johto Journeys saga but still listen and sing along to theme songs that came before and after that portion of the show.

I have a really hard time narrowing down my favourite of anything. Often times, I'll just give a stock answer to save myself the trouble. The only one of these I'm relatively confident about is saying Futurama is my single favourite TV show.

But, favourite movie, comic, song, game, etc.? Yeah, gonna need to think about that for a good while.

I actually downloaded the legal form to have your name changed several months ago because I was considering adding "TheAwesome" between my first and middle names. I go by Erik The Awesome in a few places and I thought it would make a great way to kick off a conversation by telling them my name is Erik The Awesome (Charles Boismier). I might still do it.

If I really thought about it, I could probably list off around 200 songs, if not more, I know the full lyrics to off the top of my head. Similarly, I have Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven entirely memorized and often recite it in the shower as if I were doing a professional reading of it.

That's more than I expected to come up with but hey, there it all is now.

EDIT: One more. While not really much of a fan now, I loved Linkin Park when I was 12 through 15. That was known. The part I don't think anybody knows though is that I was frustrated that their first biggest hit was In The End because, among their first two albums, I think In The End is easily their absolute worst song.

I was afraid of the vacuum cleaner when I was a little kid

holy cow! me too! mine started with the vacuum cleaner in our pool though, but quickly spread to all vacuums. i can use one nowadays, but i still hate them.. the noise is unbearable (and for whatever reason they usually catch fire when i use them! D: that doesnt help!)

under my boots, my socks never "match." theyre always the same thickness and height, but not design. they "match" in my head because theyre both christmas socks, or ones pink and the other is red and white striped--and red and white make pink. haha

i wish i was more rednecked/country than i really am. Out of towners think im some stupid bumpkin, and people here at home constantly ask me where im from. :/

Because i have a lot of Native American blood in me, (cherokee, choctaw and lumbee! <3) i have a wider nose, cat-eyes and dark hair. Back in middle school i used to shave my arms because i got made fun of and called sasquatch. i realize now that it was stupid. dark hair makes it look worse than it is, and it honestly doesnt look bad at all. ive grown to love my indian heritage since then.

I have a very high pain tolerance but I say ow whenever I hit something. Whether it hurts or not.

teehee, i do that as well. i say "ow" at loud sudden noises, or for other people when they hit something too... Edited by SweetJeans88

I've had the same ongoing daydream for years now. Every once in a while I'll tweak a character or plot idea in my head. I basically have an epic always playing in my mind.

I have a nearly-photographic memory. Usually for quotes and games; never for school. I haven't seen the movie Over the Hesge in about four years and I can quote you that movie, including songs, word for word.

I love being alone and isolated.

My first foray into writing began on an...uh..."adult"-oriented site around the age of twelve. Fan fiction for a web comic. I got second in a Halloween-themed writing contest on that site.

Welp, here I go:

I once killed a man, he smelled funny, too funny.

I once ate a whole bag of candy and did not have a belly ache. Hardcore if you ask me.

I shuffled a deck of cards back into original order. Scary.

I once lost a gunfight, the other guy didn't even have a gun, And that's the first time I died.

I would never exaggerate the truth.

I've written lyrics for rock songs and then made the music for them on Guitar Hero since I do not know how to play any instrument(except a little saxaphone, but I haven't played in ages)

I like to pick my scabs

I think portable game systems are better than consoles(which isn't really such a bad thing since 3DS and Vita can have visuals that closely match 360/PS3)

Sometimes when I stare at the sky too long outside I get afraid of falling off the face of the earth

I think MLP:FiM is the best show on television(you guys probably know I think that, but it's not like I would outwardly say that itl)

...I can't think of much else right now, but I assure you there's a lot. ;)

I hate my own ancestry, particularly my Swedish ancestry, and my family doesn't realize what Swedish society is actually like. I've thought up little jingles in the shower about watching the lands of my own ancestors become failed states.

Even though I dislike the Gay community, I sometimes come up with conflicting limericks and thoughts, usually when I go several days without jerking off thinking about women. I once kissed my little (19 months younger) (half) brother when I was nine or ten, but also was really into sneaking VHS tapes of American Pie and Varsity Blues and skipping over to certain scenes. But he would also have male friends who would dare themselves to take my shirt off. I also don't see what is so wrong with gay-haters being a bit hypocritical if they still have legitimate points.

I intend to study much more about Christianity and particularly Islam and the Q'uran. If I wasn't busy with watching my nephew, I would have liked to spontaneously attend a Baptist tent revival that was next door, back from the 25th to the 28th of October even though no one in my family has even been Baptist and my ma says that "Baptists beat kids and women and tell them they are going to hell".

I have quite probably drawn and examined more fanart of The Underland Chronicles than any other person in the world. I intend on almost single-handedly pitching the animated series with a screenplay and hundreds of pages of storyboards one day.

Although my ma knows about this, I kind of don't scientifically believe in "mild autism" or Asperger's Syndrome even though I have been diagnosed with it. Full-blown autism is a real condition that people have that they just have to live with that makes certain things in life a bigger effort.

I literally believe that the condition is just an excuse for not taking responsibility for kids and young adults not socializing as a result of being raised in an unfriendly environment.

I am obsessed with random details - personality test results, especially MBTI's, opinions by way of a ratio (on a scale of 1 to 10, how serious do you think this roleplay should be?), and ETA's.

I am taking a great liking to Doctor Who, and I know more than my fair share of trivia about it, but I have only seen 4 minutes of footage. Ever. Specifically, the proposed alliance of the Cybermen and the Daleks (YOU ARE BETTER AT DYING!)

When I'm not sure if I want to release a piece of information, I turn it into a puzzle, riddle, or very vague hint, so I can see if I can trust a person to keep it, if they're dedicated enough to figure it out.

I have 30 Webkinz and 20 Build-a-Bears from when I was 7-10.

I have a ball thrown by Mariano Riviera of the New York Yankees - but he was a bullpen catcher at the time.

I personally know Ichiro Suzuki's close relative (unsure if brother or first cousin).

Whenever I get a reference to a bug (see, hear, or believe I feel a bug, even if it's onscreen), I will compulsively ruffle my clothing and smooth it out for several minutes.

Bowling pisses me off, but I am unhealthily good at Wii Bowling.

I am obsessed with Pikmin - I got a plushie, know the name of every noun in the Pikmin universe, and sent an angry letter to Nintendo when they cancelled Pikmin 3. (EDIT: Cancelled for the GameCube/Wii. I'm not buying a WiiU just to play Pikmin 3!)

I have an opera falsetto.
